I’ve had their pork salad and it was delicious. I keep ordering the same salad whenever I go back just because it’s so good even though I prob should try their other dishes. French fries were also really good. They’ve expanded to several locations throughout the city. I’ve been to the original one in Hayes Valley. The other locations are in NoPa, the Mission, and the Marina.

Comfort soul food. I’m not a fan of corn bread usually but I love their corn bread (and those are free with every meal). This restaurant is in the Dogpatch neighborhood. There’s another location in the Richmond district.

We used to frequent this taqueria until we moved and then we would make the drive just to come back. Our go-to order are the super baby burritos. They are the perfect size. This taqueria is located in Glen Park. There’s another location in the Mission.

Next to La Corneta is Gialina’s. Delicious pizza. The Atómica pizza has gotten great reviews but, word of caution, that pizza is meant to be eaten there. Not very good as a take-out because the egg makes the dough soggy if it sits too long. Also located in Glen Park.

Don’t be deceived by the name of the restaurant. There really is no city view. But the dim sum (Cantonese style brunch) is on point. Located in Chinatown.

This Korean restaurant runs from a converted garage. Superb food but we haven’t come here for a while because the kids can’t take spicy food. Was part of our restaurant rotation back in the day. Located in the Outer Richmond.

Not a place we often frequent but it’s a beautiful place full of diverse food stalls. The Acme bread store is yum! as are the Argentinian empanadas from El Porteño. Plus, there’s a very pretty farmers market there every Sunday.
