St Mary's Church stands high above the old town, just below Scarborough Castle. The final resting place of Anne Bronte. St Mary's is still active and if you are around at Christmas the Carols by candlelight is definitely worth going to.

Walk around the racetrack and checkout the pits. The name board will bring back many memories for some. When you are finished visit the memorial at the top of the hill and finally Olivers Mount Cafe. Definitely the best views in Scarborough.

Simply the best fish and chip shop in the area. Be prepared to queue. After leaving the flat turn left and walk down North Marine Road. Take the second left opposite the cinema and North Bay Fisheries is at the bottom of the road.

If you love cheesecake this is the place to go. Located in Falsgrave Road do not miss a little takeaway cheesecake. Best I've ever tasted. While there wander up to Crofts Chocolates a little further up.

Crofts Chocolates all handmade on the premises. At time of writing they do a chocolate workshop £20 -25 for approximately 2 hour workshop. You get to keep all the chocolate you make and we made lots. If you don't fancy making them just choose something from their lovely little shop

The Watermark is open early and I'd highly recommend breakfast here. The view over the North Bay is beautiful. Popular with locals it is busy all year. There is seating outside.
