Best to go 1-2h before the sunset and enjoy the view from the West terraces and at dusk have a background view of the city lights. Wander around the rooms of the castle after dark. Every mid-June there's a Medieval Festival held inside the castle and plenty of other activities around for a few days.

Main train station, built as a replica of the train station in Vienna, it's quite beautiful compared to other Romanian train stations. Trains are affordable, don't hesitate to choose this way of transportation. It can be a nice trip or it can be the adventure to tell to grandkids one day.
