This is a gem of the mountain! The McCoy farm is a historic property that was donated to the community by the McCoy family. It has trails and gardens to enjoy. I go walking here with my kids all the time. We love picnicking here as well. It is dog friendly and has a small dog park as well.

You can cool off in the fountains or ride the Carousel. Walk around Frazier Avenue and grab a bit to eat at cashew or some ice cream from clumpies. It’s also a great place to park and walk across the Walnut Street Bridge.

We love the hunter Art Museum and the art district. Check out Rembrandt’s Coffee house for some great coffee and pastries. Don’t forget to walk around the sculpture garden.

Some beautiful hiking. Also great place to go camping. We love Snooper’s Rock!! Beautiful views! We recommend waking up early and catching the sunrise. If you aren’t a morning person it’s worth it regardless. It’s about 44 minute drive from our place.
