Broomstacks has amazing food and drink, and has a curling facility attached to it - you can book reservations online (1 hour of curling instruction, 1 hour of play)
They take dinner reservations, and in the summer have indoor and outdoor dining.

The Cyclery rents bikes in the summer and winter. There are many bike trails that will take you to the dunes, beach, and around Glen Arbor. In town there are lots of bike racks available.

Access to Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail is about 1/4 mile south of Cranberry Ridge.
On the trail it is 2 miles to the Lake Michigan beach in Glen Haven and 4 miles to the Dune Climb at Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Don't go to Glen Arbor without attempting the Dune Climb! It is located about 4 miles from the cottage. You can ride your bike there via the Heritage Trail bike path. Bring plenty of water and lots of energy. When you think it is the last hill it probably isn't :)

The Glen Arbor Township Park is located about 1/4 mile from the cottage. It has tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, picnic tables, playground equipment, and one of the nicest public restrooms we have ever seen!
Cranberry Ridge Rentals provides pickleball racquets and balls for you to use during your stay.
