Medano is the closest beach to you. It's an easy 15-20 minute walk through the marina and the main shopping mall. There are lots of restaurants there like: SUR beachhouse, tabascos, the office. My favorite is SUR, they are all a bit overpriced though. If you want to stay within budget you can walk down about 4 blocks to "Gardenias" fish tacos.

This is a very popular restaurant that you can find both in Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and La Paz and you won't be dissappointed. They have a large toppings bar with different salads and salsas you can add to your tacos. Be careful with the jalapeño poppers, they are spicy.

Right accross the street you will see the hotdog stand getting set up in the evening. I am a vegetarian but I had plenty of burros and hotdogs when I used to eat meat. Our guests have mentioned they loved the hamburguers as well. While you are waiting you may want to check on the "dulceria la coneja" candy store and check out their mexican candy that you can bring home as a souvenir.

Todos Santos is a small town just an hour north of Cabo. There are lots of restaurants. I personally recommend Jazamango for a farm to table experience or the Doce Cuarenta Cafe that has some nice vineyard gazebos in the patio to enjoy a fresh afternoon. For seafood I like Tacos y mariscos el Sinaloense. If you have a car go and explore, check out El Mirador and El Faro beach club. El Faro beach club has a day pass to use the pool, the food is ok but the view is worth the visit. For a nice ice cream try neveria La Paloma, they have lots of flavors!
