Neighbourhoods

Wildlife in our area you may see: Roe Deer, Muntjac deer, Egrets, Owls, Hares, Sparrowhawks, Red Kites, Ducks, Goats, Egyptian Geese, Kingfishers, Pheasants, Golden Pheasants, Woodpeckers and Buzzards. We are very happy for you to walk on and around the field and down to the lake and river Tiffey, or the wooded areas. Please be aware that this is farmland and there are lots of hazards, for example tree roots, rabbit holes, low branches, nettles, sheep poo (very slippery) etc. The water in the pond and lake is also very deep. Our sheep are very friendly, but please do not get too close to them when they have lambs, and beware of their droppings! You will need walking shoes or wellies if you plan to walk on the farmland.

Wymondham is an attractive and historic market town with a famous abbey, several cafes, pubs and a pretty railway station with attached bistro. Less than 10 minutes by car, Wymondham is certainly worth a visit.
