This is the perfect place to walk around and enjoy the charm of Connecticut. Be sure to visit the Heirloom Markey at Comstock Ferre or get some ice cream at Main Street Creamery (seasonal).

If you are looking to enjoy the great outdoors then you must visit Talcott Mountain State Park. This is a great place to go for a hike especially in the fall. The Heublein Tower trail is a steep ascent at first but rewards you when you arrive at the top with a commanding view of the Farmington River Valley. The trail also leads to the historic tower which is also open to explore on certain days. Check out the state park website for details.
