This is my go to bar. It's walking distance from the apartment and has a Cheers feel, where everybody knows everybody! The food is great, the drinks are strong, and the prices are right.

If you are looking for a BURGER, this place is great! It's all organic beef from local grass fed cows and you can taste the difference. It's located at the bottom of Carytown, so only a short walk from the apartment and it puts you near everything Carytown has to offer.

SEAFOOD! The boathouse offers great seafood and drinks but does come at a cost, it's a bit on the pricier side. The view is epic though!! From their restaurant you can see the river flow from in front of the restaurant, into the city skyline. It's beautiful!

This is as close to true Italian as you can get in Richmond. Located on the VCU campus, it's a bit pricier but worth it. Delicious seafood, pasta, and pretty much any Italian dish you can think of is here!

An amazing Greek restaurant that is a Richmond staple. Now at it's third location, you'll likely need a reservation as it's always full! The pikalia is my favorite dish, it means "A taste of everything".

One of my all time favorites, this place is a hands down winner in my book! The Florentine pizza with a side of red sauce...amazing! Huge menu, everything is great!

My favorite local coffee shop! You can walk over the walking bridge (walk out of the apartment to Grayland Ave, take a right, and you'll see the walking bridge ahead) and end up right at lamp lighter. Their breakfast sandwiches and coffee are both outstanding!
