Pretty much just salmon in this "Salmon-boutique", and you wouldn't believe how many different ways you can do it. It's decent value for money and has a superb ice cream shop. There's also a delikatessen to take home some tasty treats.

A really well laid out zoo, with an interactive farm as well. The tiger feeding is pretty dramatic. It's worth remembering that there are several communal barbecues on the site so you can easily save money by taking your own hot-dogs or sandwiches.

You can hire bikes at LO Multisport in Ljungskile, but you can also easily rent a bike during the summer season from both Villa Sjötorp and Anfasteröds Gårdsvik.

Trains north and south to Gothenburg from here, tickets can be used on either the train or the bus (You'll need the Väst Traffik app) - a single is about 120 SEK and allows you to travel as far as you want (within the area covered) for about 3 hours.

Opening hours are limited so check online before you go - generally the store is open to 6pm daily (later on Thursdays) and till 3pm on Saturdays - it gets very busy after lunch on a Saturday when everyone realizes they are out of booze and panics.
