Amazing doughnuts and pastry's! Especially anything cream filled ☺️ Cinnamon buns as well! Cakes and cupcakes are petty standard, I prefer the save on ones to be honest. And as I have noticed is a theme in our little town, the owners are great ☺️

The fried chicken is great! I love it in the Bento box. Prices are reasonable and staff and owner are awesome.

A little out of town but, worth the drive. The ladies here make most of the food from scratch. Lots of pie options everyday!

Great place for food and drink! Family friendly too. We haven't eaten in yet but, enjoyed trying the many new flavors of beer and the different specialty foods.

With nice owners this is a great used book store, esp at $2 a book! They have some rare books as well as new local author books and new guide/ map books. sh

Such a amazing new park! Just opened a few years ago, it combines a bike park with butterfly shaped hiking trails and a wonderful playground for all ages. Off leash is allowed for our doggie friends too. There is a beautiful viewing dock at the end of the center trail to the left.

A nice flat walk in the park with pretty views. The other side of the road leads to the river.

My favorite place to swim! Gets good and warm in the summer but, it is spring fed from the middle somewhere. Has some downsides though. The lake is not easily accessible from the parking lot, you have to descend a steep hill that has no stairs. And being off the hwy, it is very busy during the hot summer weekends. To the point of no parking. Though many people park along the hwy, I do not suggest this, merging with the speeding traffic can be very difficult. But, if you are ready to to stake a claim early or home around 4pm, after a hot day, it is the place to go.

Lovely lake! Definitely the warmest in the summer. Has a bit of a silty bottom at the sides. Great playground for the kid's and lots of space. As it is with most of the lakes, busy, busy, busy in he summer. Good to go early. Also has quite a big hill to go up and down but, also has a boat launch. So you can drop most of the people and all the stuff off and just one of you has to make the walk down. Just don't forget anything 🤣

Just a short walk from our house, and you pass Timmies on the way, this hike has some challenging sections but, well worth the view! Start early to beat the heat in the summer.

Open since 1945, the Hope Cinema still brings the big screen movie experience to a small town. Awesome owners too 🙂
