Food scene
Occoquan is a very nice little town on the waterfront. It has nice bars like Madigans (which also offers kayaking), Bar J etc. if you keep walking towards the shops, there’s also a nice park with falls and water. Plenty of birds 🦅 to see here! It’s a must see and it’s so close to our house!

This place has it all!! A definite must visit for all our of town guests. Lots of bars, restaurants, Boating, nice views, night shows, Big Ferris Wheel, community classes and MGM Casino!! It’s about 10-12 miles from our house. Enjoy all day here!!

National Harbor
165 Waterfront StThis place has it all!! A definite must visit for all our of town guests. Lots of bars, restaurants, Boating, nice views, night shows, Big Ferris Wheel, community classes and MGM Casino!! It’s about 10-12 miles from our house. Enjoy all day here!!
Springfiled Town Center only 6 miles away from our house and offers all entertainment and shopping! It has the mall with nice restaurants, Movie Theater and all the shopping! Springfiled also has many bars, restaurants (Tippy’s Taco 🌮is my favorite food) etc. Also in Springfiled is the Franconia Springfiled Metro which connects you to DC, MD and VA! Get on Metro to visit DC, and other fun places!

Springfield Town Center
6500 Franconia-Springfield PkwySpringfiled Town Center only 6 miles away from our house and offers all entertainment and shopping! It has the mall with nice restaurants, Movie Theater and all the shopping! Springfiled also has many bars, restaurants (Tippy’s Taco 🌮is my favorite food) etc. Also in Springfiled is the Franconia Springfiled Metro which connects you to DC, MD and VA! Get on Metro to visit DC, and other fun places!

This is a very nice park with nice water view, ducks and kayaking, jogging and bird watching! They also just opened the Brickmayers Cafe which offers $3 Corona Beer 🍺! Enjoy a Beer, food and sightseeing!!

About 6 miles away from our house. On weekends there’s a lot of people grilling, laying on hammocks and partying outdoors with music!

Pohick Bay Regional Park
6501 Pohick Bay DrA very nice park which has Potomac river, kayak rentals, nice views, boating, fishing, bird watching and also rent to stay space for RV or lodging in park (barbecue, relax in woods). About 6 miles away from our house. On weekends there’s a lot of people grilling, laying on hammocks and partying outdoors with music!
