Beach
Walk out of the small door and down the stairs from the garden, turn right by Hovedgaden and then right again by Ved Stranden. Just before the house Ved Stranden 9 – 100 m away you will take the small path down to the beach (see below). The beach is the city beach and if you want a more remote beach with sand dunes you just continue down Hovedgaden until the very end and there you have it on your right side after the parking lot. Further down the beach towards Liseleje there is a famous nudist beach called Stængehus. •We love a cold dip all year long with a following hot shower in the garden.

Min Købmand is just 500 m away up the street and has a lot of good basic groceries and a great variety of organic foods
Hillerød is 25 km away and has all the options for shopping – SlotsArkaderne Shoppingcenter has everything you need.
Helsinge is 10 km away and has all the options for shopping - Kvickly is a very nice big supermarket and Irma if you want more organic food choices. The village of Vejby is 3,5 km away. There are 2 bigger supermarkets Netto and Rema 1000 which offer much cheaper but fewer organic choices.

In Ørby 8 km away at Maglebjergvej 6, 3200 Helsinge you will also find a great market garden called Ørby Gartneri selling fresh local fruits and vegetables, and in nearby Farvergårdsvej 14, 3210 Vejby you will find Kødsnedkeren where you can buy the best quality meat and home-made sausages from a local farmer Butcher
Den Friske Fisk, Holløselund Strandvej 44, 3210 Vejby has the best and freshest fish around including fish cakes and fish fillets for the kids
The town Major has invested into a great bakery called Tisvildeleje Brød & Vin where you can enjoy great Danish black bread etc.
