Our go to neighborhood restaurant/bar is Swift & Union - they have a great happy hour burger and fish & chips. Family friendly while still civilized. Other highlights include Derby (brunch & lunch), Po'shines (lunch/dinner) and Posie's coffee shop. Heavenly doughnuts is another local gem! St. Johns neighborhood: Old time americana main street feel - Wander around the main street (start near Tienda Santa Cruz - and try a few tacos while you’re there), then head over to Cathedral Park and take in the view. We love eating breakfast and lunch at Paiku, lunch or dinner at Mama San Soul Shack, grabbing a coffee at Two Stroke, try a few pints at Stormbreaker brewery.
