This place is The Whistle Stop from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. Most of the bric-a-brac scattered throughout the restaurant is authentic—old lobster traps, an Iroquois canoe, a Johnson Motors sign that looks like a shark took a bite out of it. The main dining room is in a genuine Sears & Roebuck catalogue house from the 1920s. Outside there's sand everywhere with a darling bar, live music, and cocktail seating to enjoy while you're waiting for your table. (Usually a waitlist during season.)
The seafood is fresh and delicious served with southern sides and ridiculously good deserts. Pecan pie is to die and you have to try the Fried Green Tomato Salad!
Its a 3 minute drive or 12 minute walk through the darling neighborhood

They also have a donut shop about 4 miles south of here. If you dare you must ask for a "Cronut" (croissant-donut)...heaven!
