Big shopping mall with a big range of shops, restaurants and coffee bars. Great for all all your shopping, its 1 km walk from my apartment. Downstairs you will find 'Dulci Caffé' to the right side from the escalator. Coffe 0.50, toasted cheese and ham sandwich and coffee with milk 2.75 (tosta mista and galão)

Albufeira Strip: Montechoro - Areias de São João
As the most popular holiday resort in the Algarve, Albufeira has become famous for many reasons, but most notably for "the Strip". Albufeira Strip, as the name suggests, is a long road, Avenida Dr. Francisco Sà Carneiro, running through both Montechoro and Areias de São João; and hence there is the 'north strip' in Montechoro and the 'south strip' in Areias de São João.

This is the bar & restaurant area in the old town, its very lively and the people are usually a bit older than the other strip.

It's not on the main bar restaurant streets but you should go there as it's supe close. The service is great and the atmosphere is great. Claudia and her husband are wonderful. The cheeseburger was amazing and only 3€, the onion rings were delicious. I didn't try the chips bit supposed to be yummy. Claudia does everything from scratch so it's super fresh. I will back there next time.

“Amazing fresh fish until you are stuffed” Its 10€ for all you can eat full fresh grilled fish with tomato salad and potatoes. Its a very busy restaurant but well worth it. Ok the service is not the best but the waiters are very busy running around with trays of fresh fish. A lot of locals so it has to be good. The tarte de natas is to die for. The place is off the road, its looks a bit run down but worth the visit and it cost me 13.85 for 6 fish, dessert. bottle of beer

The place is off the road, its looks a bit run down but worth the visit and it cost me 13.85 for 6 fish, dessert. bottle of beer
The quality of food is just excellent with really good prices! You have choices and the service is really well and quick.
You won't be able to regret your meal! Impossible! The setting was calm and very clean, plenty of staff who could not do enough for you.

One of my wonderful guests loved this place, i will add it here as i want to try it next time as well. Its roughly 10 minutes walk from my place on the big road.

You need to put your name on the list at the bar and wait (I waited 20 Minutes Sunday lunch time) I didn't get a menu just told the dish of the day, I chose the oven cooked cod fish and it was amazing. I also had a cheese starter. It's a very noisy busy restaurant but the staff are lovely. Next time I will be prepared to order a fresh fish. Very reasonably priced.

Great value and good food - I had the black pig with chips, rice and salad for 12.50€, it was nice and the service was great.it was a bit saltier than what I am used of. You can have all you can eat fish for 27€.

Worth a visit - Great menu for 8€, soup starter, bread & butter, main, dessert & coffee. Can't fault the food or service. It's in a quieter part of the strip. Also you get wine in that price :-)

I will be back again - Great experience, staff very nice and the good was very good and great value for money. It's in the old town but off the main streets.
