Parks & Nature

Lydford Gorge is just 5 minutes away and a beautiful 3 mile walk along side a river with wonderful White Lady Waterfall and stunning Devils Caldron. A must visit place in Devon. Some of our guest have proposed there! If you are lucky enough to be here in May it's full of bluebells and wild garlic. An amazing sight, very uplifting.

Food Scene

Fabulous old pub famous for it's food. At lunchtimes they even have a cheap pensioners meal which is tremendous value and excellent quality, just a smaller version of the evening meal. Great when you plan to have a walk before or after. We love it.
