Govetts Leap Lookout is with in 10-15 minutes walking distance from Parklands. Once you clap your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. The ‘ozone-laden’ air of the Blue Mountains was promoted as a health tonic since the early 1800s, and when you get there, you’ll realise why. Located at the end of Govett’s Leap Road is Govett’s Leap lookout, which is possibly the second most popular vistas in the Blue Mountains. With a spectacular view of Govetts & Grose gorge the vertical cliffs drop 180 metres into the floor of the gorge.
