Neighbourhoods

Not only is Glastonbury a hub of spirituality for all faiths, it is also a town where 'anything goes'. On any given day, you will find the Hare Krishna's blessing the town with their melodic mantra or dishing out their wonderful food; the Pagan's climbing the historic Tor and blessing us all with their light; the Goddesses floating down the High Street to tarot readers and wizards telling us our futures. Glastonbury is truly a multi-cultural and multi-faith town filled with music, voices and colour. Apart from it's amazing people, the capital of the Isle of Avalon is where the stunning landscape is filled with ley lines and earth energies (the earth, on a planetary scale, has a number of major channels or super-highways of power which are made up of subtle, electromagnetic energies which are not visible to ordinary sight. These channels can be seen clairvoyantly, sensed as feelings through the body, or dowsed with hazel twigs or metal rods. They have been known since ancient times - the mythic symbolism for them was the serpent, snake or dragon. As these highways of power encircle the earth, they sometimes meet - these are the special places in the landscape which are recognised as sacred sites (eg Stonehenge or Avebury), because their energies are so powerful on the spiritual level). The places where the double line of energy crosses itself in Glastonbury are the Abbey ruins, the Chalice Well gardens, and the Glastonbury Tor.

The Red Brick Building hosts many weekly to one off classes ranging from arts to yoga. But they also hold great events like silent disco, DJ sets etc. Check out their website for up to date events. The restaurant also serves great food. Tip: book a table for the restaurant as they get very busy.

A sacred garden at the foot of the Glastonbury Tor. It is a garden of many ‘rooms’ each with different qualities, features and planting, but all combine to create a living sanctuary of healing, sanctity and peace.

A must see spiritual place with domed vaults and constant flowing water. There are two different healing springs, one touched red with iron, the other white with calcite which flow freely for you to drink from.
