Veyo is a cute little town with an awesome pool resort right along the creek with access to swimming and crawdad hunting in the creek as well as playing in the pool. They even have a climbing wall to try out. You can also explore many hiking trails around the area and one of the best pie shops in the center of town!!!

Cedar City's very own beach! The reservoir on the top of the hill is a great place to swim, fish, rent paddle boards, or kayaks and just hang out on the beach and enjoy the sunshine!

Just barely into the mouth of Cedar canyon. Nice hiking trail that will take you up to Thor's hideout from the opposite side of Thunderbird Garden. The shoe tree at the trailhead is fun to checkout as well.

Great paved trail for hiking or biking! Start at Canyon Park and take it to the East up the canyon, to the North along Coal Creek, or to the South along the foothills all the way to Greens Lake Trail!

Part of the old iron town ruins, known to locals as "2000 flushes", is a cool place to visit and see the enormous open pit mine. It is located about 30 miles West of town off Hwy 56. Many of the local high school and college students love to go out and explore, roll burning tires off the edge, have bonfires, and hit golf balls into the pit.
