This neighborhood is an incredible gem because we have such an easy walk or bike to all the lakes and the Minnehaha Creek, a huge chunk of our neighborhood is basically a giant park area. In the summer there is swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and just relaxing, sunning and picnicking.
In the winter, Minneapolitans are not held back by snow or cold- there is winter biking (bike rental shops nearby) and the Hiawatha Golf Course is open (at no cost) for cross country (Nordic) skiing.
We also have an unusual amount of restaurants if every type to walk to from our house. Our neighbors are extremely friendly and easy going!
