Beach 🏖

Arvanitia beach

This is the closest beach to Nafplio town and it can be reached on foot, as it is a 10-minute walk from the town. It is a small with white pebbles but almost always calm. The view is stunning, as you swim below the castles of Acronafplia and Palamidi. There is a bar that serves snacks and refreshments, a WC, sun loungers and umbrellas.

Paralia Karathonas

The second closest to Nafplio, only 5 km from town and one of the largest in the area, so you can always find a spot to avoid crowds. A family beach, big, sandy, shallow and calm, frequented by locals. Palm trees and olive trees offer an exotic air to it and people ofter have pick-nicks or even barbecues here. Watersports are also available here.

Tolo

Tolo used to be a small fishing village, when it was discovered by tourists back in 1960's. It has been overdeveloped since but the beach is still sandy and with crystal clear waters. There are lots of bars and tavernas that you can choose.

Kondyli

Although 17 km out of town, the view as you go down the hill to the beach is breath-taking. It's pebbly but always calm. There are a couple of bars and lots of sun loungers with umbrellas.
