An easy walking trail around the lake offers plenty of beautiful viewpoints and lots of birds, squirell, chipmunks and frogs. You can fish if you have a license. Be sure and take the Adventure Pass hanging placard on the fridge which allows you to park.

Programs focus on mountain ecology, habitats, flora and fauna, Cahuilla Native culture and the history of the San Jacinto Mountains. The center also has several trails for day hiking or walking, many of which afford stunning views. A nice picnic area is also provided.
