Was für ein kleines Juwel! Nachdem verbrachte nur 4 Nächte in diesem schönen kleinen Häuschen muss ich sagen, wie sehr wir mit den hohen Standard der alles zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Hütte hatte alles, was man hoffen konnte, auf eine Pause zu haben, weg .Paul ist der perfekte Gastgeber und nichts ist zu viel Mühe für ihn. Es ist offensichtlich, dass dieses Haus eine echte Arbeit der Liebe für ihn gewesen ist, und dass es wirklich wichtig für ihn, dass Sie eine gute Zeit haben. Wareham selbst ist eine perfekte Basis für Dorset zu erkunden. Es hat viele gemütliche Pubs und eine Vielzahl von Restaurants. Das Haus ist sehr leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen von all diesen. Also, wenn Sie für eine zentrale Basis suchen alle Köstlichkeiten dieser Region von Dorset zu besuchen, aufhören, und gerade dieses Haus buchen, das verspreche ich Ihnen, dass Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein.

The house looks from the outside authentic, inside the house is very stylish and equipped with every luxury, especially the kitchen equipment. The house has an enclosed garden. Paul is a real host, he wants to ensure that every need. The location is very attractive, it is within "the Wall". Very close to the center and supermarket. Additionally, you can see beautiful coastline of Purbeck within 20 minutes. Around Wareham its beautiful hiking trails. For us highly recommended.

Paul war ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber. Er begrüßte uns am Tag der Ankunft und gab einen Überblick über das Haus und Umgebung. Das Haus wurde mit allem modernen Komfort zu einem extrem hohen Standard renoviert. Die Küche ist mit jedem Tag Artikeln bestückt sind, die Sie benötigen und die Willkommens-Paket von Lebensmitteln Grundlagen war eine nette Geste. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Gegend des Dorfes noch bequem an jeden Ort, den Sie in Wareham, mit einer guten Auswahl an Kneipen und Restaurants innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß zu gehen möchten. Eine große Sainsbury ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Der Garten ist sehr schön und ein schöner Ort, um die Sonne während des Tages und Sommerabende zu genießen. All-in-all wir genossen die Woche, die wir in diesem schönen Teil von Dorset verbrachte.

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit im Osten Walls - schönes Haus, tolle Lage (nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt von der Hauptstraße in Wareham und eine kurze Fahrt zu den großen Stränden und Sehenswürdigkeiten). Paul war ein toller Gastgeber, und reagierte auf unsere Anfragen sehr schnell im Vorfeld unseres Aufenthaltes, und war sehr herzlich und freundlich, als wir ankamen. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder im nächsten Mal, wenn wir in Dorset sind - unsere 3-jährige Tochter bereits zu fragen, wenn wir in die 'Ferienhaus' geht wieder!

Property is decorated very tastefully and has lots of amenities, e.g. dish washer, washing machine, microwave, etc. Everything in the property works and there are plenty of kitchenware should you wish to cook during your stay. The interior decor is very modern and minimalist - which gives the property a sort of Scandinavian character. The garden is absolutely stunning and it is so refreshing to wake up to the chirping of birds. The property is within walking distance of Sainsbury's and the Co-operative, which is a big advantage! Mobile phone signals are weak throughout Dorset and Wareham is no exception. However, the Internet is quite good which is important. Off-street parking is available and I had no problems during the week I stayed in Wareham. Paul is very helpful and responds very quickly to any queries. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Trudi and Andy and their two delightful boys are friendly, jolly and welcoming. The room was clean and bright with a very comfy bed and the bathroom is huge and spotless. It's a help-yourself breakfast with lots of choice including eggs from their own hens. It is a 5 minute drive from Wareham which as we are not big drinkers didn't bother us but if you want a night on the town, Trudi kindly offered to drive us in and we could have got a taxi back. A nice stat.

We were greeted by Trudi's husband who was very nice despite our late arrival. The accommodation is very clean and the bed very comfortable. The location is great for people wishing to visit the Dorset. I recommend.

I really recommend staying at Anna's place. Anna is extremely welcoming and has been a delight to stay with. On my first day Anna gave me lots of brochures with what's going on in the local area which was great so I knew what to do on my days off. The house is really close to the train station which is very useful for public transport links and the town of Wareham is very quaint and pretty. The room I stayed in was very clean and light and the bed was very big and comfortable!!

Just wonderful! Anna is the most delightful host and made me feel so welcome in her beautiful home; with such a comfortable bed. What a treat to be able to play the family piano too! Lots of information available about local areas and events. Anna is the perfect host and a genuinely lovely person. We had some interesting conversations and I'd very much like to return. This is a gorgeous converted stable with everything you need whilst visiting to the Isle of Purbeck. Sue is the perfect host and a lovely lady. We can recommend the Granary Inn in Wareham for food (15 mins walk) and shopping was also easy also in Wareham. Whilst we were in Dorset we tried lots of Dorset Apple Cake, but the two slices we found in our fridge on arrival were the best, I am in the process of trying to get the recipe from Andy. Visit here and you will not be disappointed.

Quiet, small apartment within walking distance of Wareham. When the sun is out, there is a lovely place to sit and relax in the warmth. The place had everything I needed and, having stayed here twice, I imagine I'll be back again.

Huge thank you to Sue and Andy for a wonderful stay in their beautiful cottage. Sue and Andy were very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was very comfortable and could have easily accommodated us for a week, although due to work commitments only stayed one night. We dined at the old granary and took some walks on Sue and Andy's recommendation. Both suggestions were excellent and we thank them for the time they took to talk to us about the local area. A charming and cozy place surrounded by wonderful countryside and only 15 minutes walk from the excellent and handsome town of Wareham. Sue and Andy are great hosts and very welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic location, quiet little village with a great pub but close enough to loads of brilliant days out. We stayed for a week and most of our days out were within a 30 minute drive. Lovely cottage, perfect size for 2. The photos are very accurate and shows it just how it is. Just a heads up there is a TV but no DVD player. The kitchen meet our needs as we ate in some nights. There was enough pans and utensils to do what we needed. If you only know how to use a microwave you will come unstuck as there is not one. Wareham is just down the road and has a good selections of shops including a Sainsburys. Or plenty of nice places to eat out. Sue and Andy have a range of leaflets of things to do in the local area including a laminated landranger map. I'd highly recommend this as a base to go and explore a lovely part of the country. Sue and Andy were great hosts, checked we had every thing we needed and popped over a day or two later to let us know about the firework show in Wareham on one evening.

We stayed at Pound Cottage for 3 nights and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Sue and Andy are excellent hosts and the cottage felt just like home. They gave us some of their delicious famous Dorset apple cake and even a bottle of bubbly as it was my birthday during the trip! Wareham is a 10-15minute walk away with good pubs and restaurants so the cottage isn't isolated at all but you still get that countryside feeling. Hopefully it won't be long until we are back!

We would definitely stay again. The house is calm and quiet. The location is good. We enjoyed our walk into Wareham (15 mins). Geoff and Suze were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to have privacy whilst enjoying nice chats together. The breakfast was great. We loved the homemade ketchup. Thank you.

This booking was more like staying with friends. We were made to feel very welcome and could relax immediately we arrived. Sue & Geoff were very knowledgeable about places to visit and what to do in the area. Would award 6 stars if I could.

Geoff and Suze were truly lovely hosts and very welcoming. Our room was just what we needed and the breakfast delicious. We felt very much at home and enjoyed some lovely chats with them both.

We are a young couple and chose to come and stay at Geoff and Suze's for five days of coastal walks, exploring in the woods and beautiful views. We weren't disappointed as their place is an easy walk to bus routes that take you through gorgeous scenery to points along the Dorset coastline. Geoff and Suze made some great recommendations for where we should go. Highlights were: bouldering on Dancing Ledge, a film at the historic Rex Cinema in Wareham and swimming through Durdle Door. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning! Another highlight was the company of Geoff and Suze - talented musicians with interesting stories. We had plenty of time to ourselves as well; the perfect balance. We'll be coming back again at the earliest excuse!

First, the host: Wendy is the greatest host EVER. She: - waited for us when we were considerably later than expected - guided us to her place by phone - walked to the end of her lane in the mist to find us because we couldn't locate the entrance - gave us numerous restaurant recommendations and directions - loaned us a small computer - personally led us over to the ferry landing in Poole (20 minutes away by car), to make sure we didn't get lost - went to the grocery for us while we were in Guernsey and stocked our fridge with breakfast items since we were going to be returning late in the evening - when we were a day and a half late coming back from Guernsey due to a ferry accident, she hung our laundry out to dry, and engaged her mother to clean up the place later than she had planned so that all our stuff could just stay there as it was and we could have a shower and change of clothes when we got back from our 52-hour "day trip". The house is lovely, though a bit tricky to find (as you might have surmised from the above). Do NOT just enter the address in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps...follow Wendy's directions on this. We unfortunately used the automated link that appeared (because AirBnB had automatically entered our stay into my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Calendar) and were led about 30 minutes out of the way down some dark, narrow, windy roads in the foggy mist. The layout upstairs is a bit quirky, as you have to go through bedroom #2 to get to bedroom #3, and bedroom #1 has some very low (head-knocking potential) beams. Not a problem for us...just an FYI. We didn't make much use of the kitchen, but it seemed adequately supplied. The WiFi connection in the house wasn't working. We were able to log onto Wendy's own connection (her house is next door), but the signal was predictably weak. The house is on a quiet lane in central Wareham. There are quite a few restaurants etc. within an easy walk. This was our launch point for our trip to Guernsey (ferry from Poole) and from here we headed up to Salisbury and Stonehenge (both about an hour away).

We all had a wonderful holiday at the coach house. It was a wonderful location, to access many beauty spots and local restaurants and shops. Also just a short walk to the river Frome. The coach house had a lovely secluded garden and the pool was fantastic. The kids used it at every opportunity. It is equipped with everything (and more) needed in a house. Wendy is a lovely host. She is very friendly and always willing to help. We will most definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Very close to the centre of Wareham. Everything was in walking distance. We had our 1 year old with us and the accomodation was safw/child friendly with plenty of room for the travel cot, which we brought with us. Catherine was the perfect host. Very helpful and informative, giving us maps to the local area and suggestions of things to do. She provided breakfast and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope that we can come back and visit the area again soon and would definitely stay here again.

A very pleasant stay, clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly host with useful tips of what to do in the area. A good location to links to the coast of the likes of monkey world. Would recommend highly to stay here for a trip to Dorset.

Wareham is a delightful little town - almost untouched by time. Catherine's house is perfectly located to walk into town (for pubs and eating out) - and access the countryside around. We regretted not bringing our bikes (and a kayak!). Catherine is a lovely hostess and made us very welcome. We really didn't want for anything. Maps & area info provided - and the TIC in town had anything else needed. Our annexe was brand new, spotlessly clean and private. There was a TV but we didn't turn it on once - too much to do outside! Wifi provided. We had access to the kitchen and dining area, for breakfast (provided) and cups of tea/coffee whenever. The weather was mostly good so we used the patio too. Catherine and Steve were on hand to offer advice on the area and we accepted a lift into Poole one day and took the boat back up the River Frome. Lovely place, friendly people, very quiet road, off street parking, felt very safe & secure here. Can recommend the Duke of Wellington pub (music quiz on Tuesday night is hard but well thought out and fun!), King's Arms pub, a film at the bijou Rex cinema, a meal at the Old Granary, a visit to St Martin's church, a walk round the Saxon walls, all within minutes of the house. By car - RSPB Arne, Wareham Forest, Tyneham (MOD), Studland (NT), Swanage for fish & chips, and more fabulous walks...all within 10 miles. Coastal scenery to die for. Will come again! A great house in a beautiful part of the world. the house had everything a family could want- great location for exploring the beaches, rivers and castles. The house was much bigger than expected, with a huge back garden that seemed to go on for miles. With nerf guns, water pistols and a zip line the kids were entertained whilst the adults could relax. We were made to feel at home with a generous welcome pack and information about the local area and amenities. Only a 10-minute walk to the town centre we had hours of fun hiring the motor boats and eating in the local pubs and restaurants.

Caroline was a fantastic host, great communication and made us feel right at home when we visited. We stayed in the annex of the property and it was incredible; it was spacious, had everything we needed and was spotless. Shame we weren't able to stay longer! Next time we're down this way, we'll pop back for another stay for sure.

We were made very welcome by Caroline and Brook. The house is lovely and our room with en suite shower had everything we could have wanted. Very comfy bed and peace and quiet. Perfect! Caroline left us to help ourselves to our breakfast and we had a great selection of cereals and fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend the home made marmalade which Caroline had some jars of to buy. We had a lovely walk round Wareham - the city walls and the interesting shops - and to top it off, heard my first cuckoo this year! Would have liked to have stayed longer. Thank you Caroline.

This place is smashing! So clean and neat and well looked after. Denise and Sean are so friendly and did all they could to make our stay great and made sure we had everything we wanted. All the food and amenities are of great quality. The windows are double lined to keep the noise of the road out. The place is about a 45min walk from Wareham town or about £6 taxi. Easy access to anywhere. Lovely place and amazing hosts. Highly recommended.

The room was tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. It was a little tight for the amount of luggage we had, but we managed fine. The en suite was very well-appointed. Denise & Sean are terrific hosts--since we did not have a car, they were very helpful with information about transportation services when we checked in. They also provided very helpful information on restaurants. The place is located on a rather busy road, but you don't really notice any traffic once inside. It is located on a bus route that can connect you easily to the train station. Taxi service is also available. Wareham is a great little tow(URL HIDDEN)wish we had more time to explore it.

What an incredible house and gardens, we had a lovely stay for 4 adults with 2 children. Lots to do and see in the area with plenty of pubs nearby. We didn't get a chance to visit any of them as Louise and Tim's house is so gorgeous we didn't want to be anywhere else. Thankyou again for a lovely break.

A beautiful and spacious house that is tremendously comfortable. The garden is wonderful - all the children loved it!

We loved our time at Louise's place. This is a wonderful house and grounds which has a home from home feel, and plenty big enough for our family of five plus our dog. All four bedrooms are good sizes with lovely views to the back garden and countryside beyond. The kitchen is well equiped and there is plenty of space for lounging around reading and playing board games on wet days. The garden is huge - we played football and boules most evenings, and the chalet for little ones to play house in was perfect for our 4 year old daughter. There is so much to see and do in this part of Dorset, you are spoilt for choice. We'd love to come back sometime in the not too distant future.

It was a wonderful house and fantastic garden for our two teenagers and Labrador. It was very comfortable and very well equipped and close to fantastic beaches. We loved the area and went on some great walks During our week. Louise and Tim provided lots of local information and we tried out many of the local pubs recommended.

Louise is very friendly, nice and helpful, answered all queries rapidly and provided helpful information leading up to and during our stay. Beautiful, peaceful and full of character house in a beautiful area of Dorset. The garden is huge and beautiful and gets sun from dawn to dusk, really great place to chill out and have a barbecue. The kitchen is big, comfy and fully equipped, so one can gather guests around while cooking, and the large table outside is perfect for outdoor meals. The living room and bedrooms are also very cosy and comfortable. If you plan to venture out, Wareham is just a 5 minutes drive away , and Durdle Door 15 minutes. Louise and Tim are also very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend their house if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

Var en sand nydelse i smukke smukke omgivelser, kan kun varmt anbefalde nok det bedste sted man ka drømme om at tilbringe i Wareham. Imopnerende morgen mad , hjemme bagt brød, æg fra høns i haven, frisk frugt skåret ud, ja alt hvad man ku drømme om, det var kongelige forhold, så fantastisk!!! Altid glade og meget hjælpsomme værter, så glade for denne oplevelse, og håber at kunne vende tilbage, når vi ska besøge vores søn, i wareham, vi følte os virkelig hjemme, Liz gav en skulder at græde ved da dagen kom vi sku tag afsked med vores søn, det var dejligt, han har nu os et nummer til vores Fantastiske værter hvis alt sku gå galt langt væk hjemme fra.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere, and completely fell in love with Alice and Kulu - what wonderful dogs! The breakfast was superb; we felt so spoilt, and what a treat to have extremely local free range eggs!

Het was zo leuk, voelen we ons zo welkom, net als de vorige keer dat we logeerden ad Liz en Chris .. ze hebben een beautyfull huis, en twee prachtige honden die ze maken een koninklijk ontbijt, :-) het is fantastisch, voelen we ons veilig, en kan alles aske en hulp krijgen, we hield echt voelen ad thuis, en hopen dat als we ooit terug te gaan, zal het de beste plaats in Wareham, ad Liz en Chris en de zoete lieve honden :-) we er waren, waren er deze zomer, toen onzen zoon moveing naar Wareham om foor blijven een half jaar, en feelt ad thuis vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen ... dus natuurlijk vroegen we of we bezuinigen komen, wanneer het oppakken hem dit winter, en gelukkig ons dat ze geknipt hebben ons weer eens het was de laatste drukke dagen befoor kerst. De kamer en het bed is gewoon PERFECKED, het is zo schoon dat het gat huis, u kunt vertrouwen voelen koninklijke daar hield Oure dagen verblijven. Liz and Chris and the dogs Kulu and Alice, made us feel very welcome. The directions to the house were very clear and we found it easily. The house was as showed on the website. The accommodation is lovely, clean and spacious, the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat every morning. One morning Chris baked for us bread. It was crispy and warm when we waked up! A good thing to start the day. We specially like to thank Chris who highlighted the beautiful nature reserves to spot birds. My two daughters loved the dogs and played with them as much as possible . I really hope we will be able to return because it felt like visiting family or friends.

We had a lovely weekend break with Liz, Chris and the dogs :) they were excellent hosts, and the kids loved playing in the amazing garden - highly recommended!

The house is in a residential area a bit out of the downtown so you depend on the public transport if you have business obligations in town. But the house is excellent, lots of daylight, quiet, clean, great views over the bay, next to the nature reserve. And Steve is a great host. He takes care of everything you need and provides you with info needed (busses schedules, restaurants in the vicinity, walking suggestions etc).

On a short trip to Southampton, looked for a good value but familiar area and Steve's place was known to me. The house is very modern, clean and exceptionally tidy. As usual, Steve was an exemplary host, with all the facilities you would expect (and more) for the stay. I would have no hesitation in staying again, probably for longer if the need arose. Overall, the house is very well situated to explore this part of the country.

Steve was the perfect host and the listing doesn't make justice to the amazing house, bedroom and facilities. Brilliant value for what is on offer, and so close to city center! Steve was an incredibly attentive host that made me feel completely at home. Would definitely go back, and I definitely recommend it to anyone. I work in the hospitality industry and I am well impressed with this lovely gem in a great location. Amazing views, if not the best ones in Poole!
