Natural Reserve 'Los Arcos Islands' by Boat & Snorkel

We meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and we take a public bus to Mismaloya, a beautiful town 25 minutes south from Vallarta. At the beach we embark the boat to start our journey to Los Arcos: 5 beautiful islands in a protected natural area and a sanctuary for birds! In the incredible caves we will learn about the fauna of the natural reserve, among others the great variety of birds who nest on the islands. Afterwards, the captain will take us to a special and safe area where we can snorkel and learn about the great variety of marine fauna that inhabits the coral. Before returning to Vallarta we take you to an iconic place in the history of the city. If you are staying south of Puerto Vallarta and prefer to meet directly in our shop in Mismaloya let me know! *Note that some days the visibility and currents in the water can vary and may affect the amount of fish we can spot.

Hidden Beaches Hike, Colomitos & Snorkel

In this hike we will explore different hidden beaches following a Beach/Jungle trail ABOUT: We meet in Zona Romantica, old center of Puerto Vallarta. Here we take an urban transport just like the locals do! After a pleasant 25 min ride along the coast we get off at a picturesque fisher town. Here we will start our hike following the riverbank and the sea. From there we start our ascent in the tropical forest with some amazing views! After a short hike trough the jungle we descend to our first destination: Colomitos Beach, officially the smallest beach in Mexico! After a rest and pictures we continue our path and leave the many tourist behind us to explore more hidden beaches. Here we have the opportunity to swim alone and feel in paradise. If the sea is calm, we will visit a secret place where to snorkel and observe a great diversity of fish! After this refreshing break we'll continue to our final destination and last beach: 'Playa las animas'. Here we have the option to have an incredible local seafood plate. (Not included) Last but not least we take the boat back to the fishertown where we started the hike. Six Hidden Beaches Hike

Explore 6 hidden beaches in this incredible hike by the jungle and the beach ABOUT THE HIKE: 9:30am - We’ll meet at the Romantic Zone where we’ll take a sweet ride on the city bus just like the locals do. It’s a 25 min ride along the coast, where you’ll get to see most of the southern beaches of PV. 10:00am - After the ride, we’ll get to Boca, a small fishing town where we’ll start our adventure/hike. 10am to 10:30am - We’ll begin the hike between the beach and mountain, stop at a look out point to take great pictures and then continue to the smallest beach in México (my favorite spot). 10:30am to 11am - Refreshing swim at the second beach 11am to 12:30pm - Hike to the remaining 4 beaches, take more pictures, swim and learn more about the area 12:30pm to 1:30pm - Stop to relax, buy fresh fruit and coconuts at the fifth beach. 1:30pm to 2:30pm - Lunch at the last beach Las Animas where you’ll get to try great seafood like you haven’t tried in PV yet (the food is not included). 2:30pm to 3:30pm - We’ll make our way back by water taxi, you’ll see the bay from a different perspective. THE INCLUDED WATER TAXI IS FROM THE LAST BEACH TO BOCA. Once we get to Boca, we’ll take the city bus back to PV. *PLEASE READ* These hike is 2.6 miles although it is labeled as Moderately Strenuous hike. From our meeting point we will take a public bus ride going south for about 25 min. Just like the locals do. 2. Once we get to ‘Boca de Tomatlán, a fisherman town surrounded by mountains. We’ll be taking the Water Taxi to our destination, Quimixto Town. 3. You’ll be able to lay back and enjoy one of the best rides of the bay. The boat, rides close to the shore, so you’ll be able to see most of the exotic southern beaches, while looking at the entire mountain. 4. Once in town, our first spot will be the famous waterfall 30 min from the heart of the town. With a height of about 31 mt/100 ft. (The trail can be done by Mule or ATV for extra 400 pesos) 5. Walking along the rustic/ranchero style town. We’ll discover the authenticity of this place, with its cobblestone streets, and colorful houses full of vegetation. 6. Once on the waterfall, we’ll get to swim on the refreshing pool along with the fish, have a snack and take some rest. 7. We'll visit the other part of town and go towards the Beach. 8. After we eat delicious seafood (optional) and relax on the beach. We’ll take the boat ride back, and then bus to Vallarta.

To begin our experience, you will be instructed on how to get to one of our 4 meeting points that are strategically located for you to choose the closest to your place of lodging. The options are as follows: 1: Nuevo Vallarta 2: Cruise Ship Terminal Area 3: Zona Hotelera Norte 4: Zona Romantica Then you will take the transportation which will take you to the Zipline facility, where you will enjoy 8 amazing zip lines, which are the safest and newest of PVR. It is an ideal opportunity to get to know the Sierra Madre Occidental and the beautiful nature that it has to offer. This experience is recommended for people between 6 and 65 years of age, since it requires a moderate physical effort when walking between the 11 lines, if older than 65, a very good physical condition is required. Maximum weight 250 pounds. Once you finish the activity, we have the options of doing a tequila tasting (included), or can enjoy the local cuisine in an excellent restaurant (not included), or to cool off at the infinity pool (not included). Finally, the transportation will take you back at no cost. Other things to note: We have 4 meeting points located in strategic points of the city.
