“My personal favorite for a late-night shawarma in the city. They have a few locations within Bukit Bintang area and some open until the early mornings. The regular-size Chicken Shawarma is at RM6 (in perspective, USD1.40) Make sure to ask for cheese just for another RM2. ”

“Mamak stalls are usually run by Muslim Indians and are very popular among locals. It can be found in any corner of the city, and certain mamak stalls even run for 24/7. One of the must try at mamak is Teh-Tarik, which is a sweet cup of milk tea tossed from cup to cup. Make sure to check out how the tea is made, and Teh-Tarik is best enjoyed with a plate of roti canai. ”
