David was very helpful. He visited us to make sure everything was alright multiple times. Kelvingrove was very diverese, and had Indian, Chinese, and Arab takeaways very close by. Along with a Tesco right across from David's flat. The neighborhood was lovely, and the neighbors were very cooperative.
David and his partner Christine were very helpful when it came to our family trip to Scotland. David was prompt in in responding to the reservation request as well as any inquires we had while visiting the city. The apartment has been recently renovated, clean and in a great area of Glasgow; within walking distance of all major event centres and tourist sites. The apartment is spacious and easily fit a family of four and included all necessities to make your trip enjoyable and relaxing.

I only stayed the one night but can appreciate the care Michaela had to make me feel welcome.
Superb hospitality! Michaela was kind enough to offer me a lift from the airport and was very nice and helpful all along my stay. The room is an en suite, very clean and nicely presented plus the bed is quite comfy. All information you may need is nicely presented in the room. I only stayed a night but I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow. Thanks Michaela, hope to see you again! :)
Great location! Michaela and Tommy greater host ! Nice doble bed with bathroom suit !I recommended it
Michaela was very friendly. The room looked exactly as described. It is the perfect room for a short stay in Glasgow. Everything was clean! The en suite bathroom was very nice and also clean. We enjoyed our stay at Michaela's place. We would definitely come back to stay with her!
Micahela was very helpful - allowing us to check in really early after night train arrival. The room is lovely; extremely clean, comfy bed and nice big bath in the ensuite! The kettle and drinks available in the room was an extra nice touch. The location isn't completely central, but quiet enough (on the main road, but minimal noise with windows shut) and very quick to get into town by bus or train. I would recommend this place to stay
This house is awsome; very clean and they are kind. I arrived late dinner but they wa greeting us!
Great place to stay Needed a place last minute and Michaela really helped me out. Very welcoming, the place is lovely, ensuite room, very clean and comfortable Highly recommend
Fantastic hosts. Clean, exactly as described and really comfy bed. Wonderful to have en-suite bathroom

Rupert was very welcoming and accommodating. He helped us find places to go, and even asked how things went when the day was done. He even offered to arrange transportation for us when we left. I would definitely stay with him again.
A friend and I stayed over for one night at Rupert's place. We came past midnight, yet he was graciously accommodating about our late arrival. The room and the house are spotless. the house has awesome photos all around (that he took!). The view from the house is great as well. Rupert himself is very friendly and helpful (gave us great spots to hit going up north) . I would definitely recommend staying at his place
Rupert's flat was very accommodating. Rupert, himself, was a generous and cordial host. Centrally located, the flat was comfy and convenient to the heart of the city. Highly recommend this stay.
Rupert is a really friendly welcoming host with a vast amount of knowledge of the city. He was very helpful and had suggestions of which areas to go and visit in short amount if time we had there. Great apartment, huge room, v. comfortable bed!! We left our bags past the check out time as nobody was in the room the next day. Perfect for a weekend break and close to the train stations. Would love to stay again, and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Rupert!
First time I've used Airbnb when travelling on my own. Perfect stress-free experience! Rupert's a lovely guy. Great location. And absolutely no complaints about the facilities. Would definitely return if I ever need a place to crash in Glasgow. Thanks,
Great place in good central location. Rupert was lovely and very helpful, would highly recommend staying here.
Rupert is a great guy and I had a very good time in Glasgow. He is fun to hang around with and has helped me a lot. Hope to meet him again in the future. The flat is charming and well-located. I would stay there again.
We didn't get to meet Rupert but his lovely girlfriend waited for us. Everything was perfect ! If you're ever going to Glasgow, this is the flat you want !

Liliana, Renan and the flat were just perfect! Renan was there to welcome us when we arrived and explained everything in details. It was reassuring that he was reachable 24/7. We were supplied with all things we need plus extras! The flat was nice, clean and VERY CENTRAL! Wonderful experience!
We had a brilliant time staying in the apartment. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. We would definitely return
Four of us stayed at Liliana's the weekend of 30 May 2015 for one night. The apartment was located slap bang in the city center of Glasgow just a skip away from Central station. Liliana responded very quickly to my initial response was very welcoming and provided loads of help and information to make our stay more enjoyable. The loft apartment itself was very nice and had all the necessary items to make our stay super comfortable. The flat is spacious, full of light, comfortable and well appointed. I would very happily stay there again should the need arise. We were met on the day of entry by an associate for Liliana's, a very helpful and friendly chap called Renan who gave us all the instructions for the flat. An enjoyable stay for all of us. RW
Lilian's place was picture perfect! It was right at the centre of town, close to restaurants and was actually overlooking the central station. Lilian's place was exactly as described - Couldn't have asked for better!
Lili has a great flat right in the centre of Glasgow. Apartment is spotless and highly recommended. Large living area with fully equipped kitchen and satellite tv. Very safe entry system. Quiet flat.
This is a spacious apartment in the centre of town, close to the shopping district, bars and restaurants. The apartment is modern, with all essentials for a short, or long stay. Renan was very accommodating to our late arrival, but had proved fresh milk, cookies and juice in the apartment. The appliances worked well and the lift acess made for easy moving with shopping and luggage. The apartment has a bathroom and ensuite which are both modern.
The stay here was excellent - when we arrived we were greeted at the station and taken to the flat and shown around and how things work. The pictures don't do this apartment justice it's lovely - bigger than I imagined and it was so quiet . Everything we needed was available in the apartment and Renan our host was only a call away if we needed anything . We were in Glasgow on business and hope to be staying again
A truly excellent experience. Thank you so much. Met on time, great hand over / intro and a lovely and clean apartment. Thank you very much!

Rowan Cottage (part of Finnich Cottages) provided a delightful 4-night stay in a cosy, clean and quiet environment ideal for that much needed break away from the city. The cottage has fabulous views and our host Marguerite was warm and welcoming and ensured that we had all that we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this cottage and location highly enough and look forward to returning in the near future. The holiday cottages have been beautifully converted yet still retain an element of that old school charm. A real joy and a rural gem!!!

My place is close to parks, restaurants and dining, shopping and the city centre. You’ll love my place because of the super-king size comfy bed, the location, quietness, your own bathroom and a peaceful garden also only used by you. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Our house is located in one of the most popular area in Glasgow, sitting in a very quiet but convenient residential area. The neighbourhood is very safe, even has its own professional security guard, which most of the flats in Glasgow don't have. The room is fully furnished with a good size wardrobe, a cupboard for storage and a huge super-king size bed (180x200cm). The room also contains a desk with a drawer and a big 42” Plasma cable TV with many channels. The bathroom with shower/bathtub and toilet is directly next to your room and will be exclusively used by you. From your bedroom you have direct access to the garden (also only used by you). Your room is lockable, and you will be given your own key. The kitchen will be shared with us and is also fully equipped with a modern fridge, microwave with grill, gas cooker, dishwasher and dining table. You will have access to the internet and cable TV, our kitchen, washing machine, dryer, your own bathroom and the private garden. We will try our best to help during your stay. We supply a Glasgow map, a print out of our local guidebook. We will provide free tea/coffee/hot chocolate for the guests to enjoy anytime. The check-in & -out times are guidelines. We are usually quite flexible on those times, if you would like to arrive early, please get in touch and we will see if it is possible. In any case, you can drop luggage off and collect keys earlier if it suits you. After check out, we are happy to let you leave your luggage at our house for later collection if that helps. The house is located in a closed private residential area, therefore it is very quiet and free parking is also available in parking spaces. Superbly located this much sought after area allows easy access to Glasgow City Centre as well as motorways going either end of the City. Duke Street is within short walking distance offering a mixture of day to day shops, beauty salons, pubs and food outlets. Likewise, Glasgow City Centre is notoriously known for its colourful night life promoting a mixture of swanky bars, restaurants and cultured buildings. It is an approx. 20-25mins walk into the City Centre and an approx. 3-5 mins to the bus station, 10mins walk to Lidl, Tesco or train station. Additionally the next convenient shop, where you can buy some essentials is only 2 mins walk away. There are nice restaurants within 5 mins for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A fold able single bed is available for one additional guest.læs mere
Jie and Andreas were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their house is located in a quiet area within a walkable distance from the city center, and there are convenience stores, bars and cafes nearby. The clean, comfortable and cozy bedroom located on the ground floor of the house has a private bathroom and a little garden, which gives a lot of privacy. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend Andreas and Jie's house to anyone!
Andreas was a perfect host and his room in Glasgow was wonderful. We would absolutely recommend staying with him and his lovely wife in Glasgow!
Comfortable and clean room, and private bathroom really appreciated. Communication easy and kind host. Recommended !
You will find this nice flat to be within walking distance of quaint shops, two rail station stops and quite good restaurants. I enjoyed walking about the charming neighborhood even in the rain which one might as well be resigned to in Scotland. It is safe, above all, quiet with a garden full of waving plant life and visited by two magpies daily. Leave the drapes open at night for a relaxing display of billowing fronds through the night.
Nice warm welcome from the host. Good information provided about transport to and from town centre. Room was good (as shown and described) enjoyed the little extras (nice biscuits). Souurounding location was lovely and quiet. Would stay agIan.

If you like natural wood and a homely feel then you'll like it here. Not much traffic with nice aspects across open space to front. Quirky & cool bearded hipster bars close enough but far enough away to get a good night's rest! Full kitchen & use of stereo. Govanhill is not a typical Scottish area. It is less gentrified than the West End & has more rubbish in the streets. But we love it because it has a hot-pot of diverse communities and ethnicities vibrant cafes, restaurants & shops. Cooler!? Traditional high ceiling bay window with a relaxed homely feel with open aspects out to a shared green-space. Open plan kitchen/sitting room with Art Deco seating to enjoy bay window views or the On-Demand TV or simply plug in your own music. If you enjoy cooking there is an eye level oven, microwave, fancy touch screen hob, Belfast sink, freezer space in hall. There is a fold out table with two chairs for eating at. While relaxing you can enjoy on-demand TV again connected to my stereo - or to keep you awake with your full belly! Switch speakers on in bedroom and relax to your tunes in the solid wooden bed or the old Victorian 'grand-pa' chair with your feet on the bed... The bathroom is probably my favourite space. I went to the bother of installing a rotating bath tap so no arguments on who has to sit at the tap end while enjoying the relaxed wooden features... You'll have access to the whole flat and the shared back garden. I'll vacate the flat for you and make it all tidy and clean. If the weather is nice you could take out the garden furniture and chill in the back garden. I'll give you my mobile number to call me if you have any issues. Quirky, cool, up and coming hipster area with a hotchpotch of cultures from around the world. Even some English... oh and Scottish! Or are we Norwegian?! Its not totally gentrified so if that is what you are looking for then head to the West End. Govanhill has heaps going for it - Boutique Bakery45, authentic Asian food, tattoo parlors (Jagged Edge) , performing arts (Tramway), German style bakery/cafe (Tapa), Social Enterprise cafe hang out (Milk) but does have the odd edgy pubs so as with any visit to a new city it's worth doing your research. When we get dry weather people are outside in the streets in Govanhill debating the world's problems.. its quirky as I said! After loving my time living in Hackney (London) when it was 'up and coming', I'd say it's a similar 'vibe'... it has an edge! If you enjoy going out for drinks then you've got bearded hipster bars (Rum Shack, Alison Arms, Glad Cafe), or Irish bars (Heraghty's), or sporadic folk music in Queen's Park Cafe, or the many scheduled gigs in the social enterprise Glad Cafe, or some bigger names down the road in O2 Academy. If you like a bit of fresh air you can visit Queen's Park with excellent views of the Campsies (Dumgoyne and Earl's Seat) or enjoy free bowls in the sun (it was sunny blue skies today!), or tennis (not sure if it is free) or have a wander round the glass-house and see some interesting animals - I'm afraid they are behind bars. If it's all a bit much you can have a roll about the kids soft play area. The train into town is less than 10 minutes but my choice would be to use the council bike rental scheme where you can pick up a bike close by and cycle into Glasgow via the dedicated bus/cycle lane. Or walk into town in about 20 mins. Or jump on one of any buses less than a minute from flat. Number 4 or 6 direct buses to west end. Fruit and veg and butchers shops are a stone's throw from flat as well as a Lidl, Sainbury's Local and Tesco Metro. There are loads of cafes, pubs/bars close by but not too close by that you can hear any noise from them. Please note - I do require appropriate verification to be registered with Airbnb and as a result I reserve the right to cancel your booking if you don't have any. Sorry about that but it is my home :)læs mere
It was very nice to stay at Neill's place. He was very friendly and funny :-) He gave us the whole apartment for us to stay, so we had a lot of private time, which was nice too. We would definitely recommend Neill's place to others!
Neill's flat was the perfect place to spend a rainy weekend in Glasgow. Everything was spotlessly clean and we appreciated all the homely little details like natural wooden interiors and Belfast sinks. We especially enjoyed the sound system for playing music in the living room and bedroom. Neill met me in the morning to explain everything and was extremely helpful.
Neill is a gracious host, helpful and generous, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The flat is just as pictured, with all amenities for eating in, cooking if you want, a quiet bedroom in the back, full bath, TV and music options, WiFi-- all the comforts of home. The neighborhood is fine; never felt uncomfortable or like we had to be too careful. And the location can't be beat for convenience-- two nearby business districts with plenty of shops and restaurants, including the best ice cream in town; a big city park; and train and bus stops within a few short blocks. The large bay window that looks out on the street became one of my favorite views-- beautiful light and sky. Neill checked in with us during our stay to make sure all was going ok, and we knew we could contact him whenever if we needed anything. Otherwise he left us to get on with our holiday, which was nice and trusting. I would return to this lovely flat in future, no question, and rent from Neill again in a heartbeat. I fell in love with Glasgow, and owe at least part of that to how easy and delightful Neill and his flat made the whole trip.
A very nice and well equipped flat and kind host. We had a pleasant journey and a great stay at Glasgow and Neill's flat. Thank you!
We had a lovely time at Neill's place. His apartment was clean, spacious with the bed being extremely comfortable. It's about a 15 min bus ride into Glasgow central and 25/30 minute bus ride to the west end. You can walk into the cbd in 30 mins. The area is little rough around the edges, but it has numerous charity stores and a great cafe on the main road. We enjoyed Neill's apartment and really appreciated all his recommendations.
Neill was lovely and friendly, and very easy to contact when our flight was cancelled (grr at Easyjet!) He was very accommodating about arriving a day later than we said we would. The flat was very light, quiet and nicely decorated. It was very easy to find, and to get into the centre of Glasgow by train. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, hopefully for a bit longer next time!
Neill's apartment was completely what we were looking for - homely and pretty central! Best bed we have ever slept in! Neill was an extremely welcoming host and showed us all around the flat including the essentials! Would definitely recommend & would be happy to stay again :-)
Neill's place provided just the base we needed for our stay in Glasgow. Thanks for having us ;-)

Welcome to our lovely flat in the West End. We live in a traditional Glasgow tenement flat on a quiet residential street with beautiful shared gardens nearby. Convenient for West End attractions (Kelvingrove Park and Museum, University, Botanic Gardens, cafes/restaurants etc). 10-15 minutes walk to University and Byers Road shops/cafes/bars, 20-30 minutes walk to city centre. 3 minutes walk to frequent bus service to centre. Free on-street parking outside the flat. This is our home - we have been living here for the past 4 years and it is filled with all our things making it homely and inviting. It's a really spacious 2nd floor flat, with a big kitchen/diner and a large living space with traditional bay windows. Our bedroom is light and airy with a big (140x200cm), comfortable double bed. The bathroom is bright with a good powerful shower. There is a bright and spacious kitchen with dining table and fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and washing machine (no dishwasher!). Because we still live here some of the time there are loads of utensils and things to cook with in the kitchen and we'll make sure there's always some shampoo, things to read, and milk in the fridge! We now also have a sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests or if you'd rather not share a bedroom! It's perfect for one and cosy but comfortable for two (113x170cm). Please let us know before arrival if you plan to use it so we can leave out bedding (we have a duvet, pillows and sheets for you to use). We now have a 32" LCD TV in the lounge for guests to use. When you are staying here you will have exclusive use of the whole flat and we want you to feel at home and treat our flat with care as we would :-). We will only interact with you to give you keys and show you how everything works. The space is then yours but one of us will always be nearby if you have any problems. Olivia is from Glasgow and Ross has lived here for 5 years so we both know the city well and can give advice about places to go/things to see or do/where to eat. We live in the West End of Glasgow, which is perfect for the cafe and shopping culture the West End is famous for. Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens are a ten minute walk away, the busy shopping street of Byres Road is a ten minute walk, and we live five minutes from Great Western Road. While famous for its shopping, cafes, and bars, the West End also has numerous museums such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery; the Tenemant House, Glasgow School of Art and the Riverside Museum are also easy to walk to. The University of Glasgow is 15 minutes walk. Our street is very quiet and residential with traditional sandstone architecture all around. It is possible to walk into the City Centre from the flat, it will take about 20-30 minutes, but we live 5 minutes from Kelvinbridge Underground Station which can easily and cheaply transport you around the city. There are also great bus links on nearby Maryhill and Great Western Roads. There is lots of free on street parking outside the flat if you plan to arrive by car. All in all a great location! The flat is on the 2nd floor of a traditional tenement building (block of 8 flats with a shared stair). There is no elevator/lift.læs mere

We have been backpacking for 10 months and have primarily stayed in Airbnb rentals for accommodations. This unit gets our award for the "World's Best Airbnb" unit. Cozy, spacious, fully and graciously stocked - we haven't felt like we've been "home" until staying here. In fact, we were terribly sad that we had only one night to enjoy this gem of a rental. We appreciated the washer, the items left for breakfast, and a very clean apartment. We highly recommend this unit to enjoy Glasgow!
It was very nice at Ross and Olivia. The flat is wonderful
Lovely flat situated convenient between the West End and the city centre. Would recommend this listing.
The apartment was just perfect, it was very clean, easy to find and provided us with everything we needed (towels, kitchen equipment, great wifi etc) and the location was great, the bus stop is very close by. Ross and Olivia were so nice, always responded quickly to our messages and offered to help or answer any questions we had!
Great hosts! Extremely helpful and accommodating! We needed to check in early due to a wedding we were attending which Ross didn't have a problem with. The flat is beautiful, clean and tidy. Very close to the centre of Glasgow and on a nice quiet street. Would highly recommend.
Ross and Olivia's flat was a lovely place to stay in Glasgow. The location is great being in Glasgows trendy West End and the flat is extremely spacious, comfortable and quiet. It's walking distance to the centre of town or there are good transport links nearby. I would highly recommend this property.
We had a great stay. The flat was very bright and cosy. It's close enough to the west end and to town.
Everything was just amazing! Ross has a beautiful place in a great location! It is not right in the center of Glasgow, but we walked everywhere (20 minutes approx to get to the center) and that´s exactly what he told us. Everything was great and he even let us stay longer before check-out :) Would definitely stay there again!

Vicki is incredibly welcoming and she shares her home with you rather than the living area and kitchen being off limits. Her daughter is a little ball of sunshine and her cat Missy is the friendliest most cuddly creature I have ever met. Vicki's house is *GORGEOUS*, beautifully designed and with a setting that is out of this world. I probably spent an hour talking to Vicki when I arrived because she is such a friendly and interesting person. In the morning I was meant to leave early but i was having such a great time talking with two other very interesting guests that i didn't get on my bike until 10. Breakfast was a feast, I took a photograph of how plentiful, varied and beautiful the food looked. A genuinely life changing experience not just a place to stay.
Vicky is one of the most cheerful people you'll ever encounter. She has he most two beautiful dogs I've ever seen. 2 chickens and another dog (in a body of a cat) called missy. She lives with Princess Daisy (her 2 year old Daughter), a rascal that is a lot of fun! The house is unbelivably charming and the bedroom is excelent. Wifi signal is good. The village (croftamie) is very nice, and near a ton of places. Loch Lomond is a walk away from her house. The breakfest is the best I have ever had!
Fabulous location. Very picturesque and quiet. Vicki made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We enjoyed sharing her home and meeting the rest of her family - daughter Daisy, the dogs (very well behaved) and the cat and two hens. We will never forget the amazing home cooked breakfast that Vicki prepared for us. Vicki has excellent local knowledge and was able to advise on many attractions in the local area.
What a lovely spot and what an amazing host. Vicky will do anything to make you feel at home. The breakfast is amazing. One of the best bnb we have been in! Thanks again Vicky.
The Old Mill Cottage is beautiful and Vicki couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Everything about the weekend was great; lovely room, hospitality, breakfast and location. I can't recommend highly enough and I will definitely be back.
We are very happy to have been stay in the Vicki's cottage ! They are a very lovely and friendly family, her cottage is very beautiful and you can touch a real scottish hospitality !! unfortunately we have spent only one night...Would raccomended !! Thanks again Vicky and family for this great experience Dario
Top room, great place. It has been a pleasure to stay at Vicki's. She has been a great host, very charming. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will come back.
We had a great time at Vicki's place! The house is very nice with an extra bathroom for guests and with dogs, cat and chickens a paradise for animal-lovers like us! We got everything we needed, a great breakfast and an extra heater for our room. The cottage is nicely located at the landscape with short distance to Glasgow. Vicki and her family made as feel very welcome!

We stayed at Arita's and Kristaps's place for one night only and we really regret we couldn't stay longer. Room was very clean so was the bathroom. We could use the kichen, living room and tarrace. Breakfast was very good with variables of things to choose from. Both Arita and Kristaps are very cheerful, kind and open-minded. Also location of apartment is very convenient! Truly reccomend!
They were awesome, very warm welcome. Let us use the kitchen and make some breakfast which was nice of them. The place was really close t the bus station and the royal concert hall. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in glasgow.
My experience with Arita and Kristaps was absolutely phenomenal! They were so accomadating, and made sure that my fiancé and I had everything that we needed. The breakfast was lovely and being able to have access to great views of Glasgow made it even better. Their puppy Charlie was also an absolute delight. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a very inviting family to stay with. Short walks to everything in Glasgow as well!
Arita & kristaps walked their talk in every respect 5***** Thank you- Stephen
Arita and Kristapas went beyond everything we expected. The flat was clean and everything was as promised. Thank you again. We would definetly come back.
We had a lovely stay at Arita and Kristaps's place! The place was exactly like how it's described and maybe even better. Arita was one of the best hosts we've encountered! We arrived at their place earlier than the specified check-in time but Arita was lovely enough to let us leave our heavy bags and even offered us breakfast! We were also greeted by their cute dog, Charlie, who made the enjoyable stay even better. The place was clean and cosy. The room itself was spacious with an ensuite toilet and a nice terrace view. We were also free to use to kitchen, which we did to make our late night supper and is an added bonus. The house is just wonderful! We did not make any prior bookings for our journey from Glasgow to Edinburgh but Arita was so kind to offer to search and buy the bus tickets online at a cheaper rate for us, which we paid back in cash! We were so grateful for her hospitality. Our overall experience was excellent and we would definitely recommend Arita and Kristaps's place to everyone!
What a nice place to spend my last two days in Scotland! Large room, great wi-fi, private bathroom and access to the roof garden area. The room had lots of thoughtful touches – a couple of outlet converters for foreign plugs, bathroom toiletries, a map and other helpful brochures on Glasgow, and even a welcoming bon-bon. Arita and Kris were very friendly and accommodating…and their little dog, Charlie, whom you can interact with or not, was a pistol! Very sweet and friendly…and energetic. The place was relaxed and I felt I could come and go as I pleased. Loved the location of the building – an easy walk to the Centre, or to the Cathedral, as well as to the Buchanan Bus Station (5 minute walk), where you can get the bus to and from the airport. The subway, that goes around the perimeter of the City, has a stop 5 minutes away. I used it to go to the Riverside Museum and University-area museums. £1,60 per ride or £4 for an all-day pass (I don’t think it’s inter-usable with the bus system). In closing, in addition to recommending staying at Arita’s and Kris’, I’ve got to make a plug for the Mussel Inn (great fish), 157 Hope St, between St. Vincent and West St George streets – about 0.9 mile (20 minute walk) from the apartment, just up the street from the Central Station. Great sea bass & veggies for £16.95, and less for a huge pot of mussels.
Staying with Arita and Kristaps really feels like being at your own home. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, they make sure that your experience is as pleasant as possible and are more than happy to share a cup of tea and a chat with the guests. Both the room and the house are lovely and equipped with everything you may need (hairdryer, internet connection, adapters, umbrellas, and maps to say just a few) …plus and adorable puppy :) They provide the guests with a self catering breakfast that also includes fresh fruit and give great advice about places to see or pubs and restaurants in the area. The neighborhood is a 5 minute walk from the very centre of Glasgow but still very quiet, and there's a supermarket right downstairs from the flat. I would definitely go back at Arita and Kristap's!

Arlene is lovely and very welcoming. Flexible in letting us arrive to her palace a few hours early. Video-games for my son were an added bonus. A little tricky to find if you don't have (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. Great stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Arlene is a delightful hostess, very responsive, welcoming, and had great suggestions for restaurants, groceries, etc. everything was very clean and well appointed. The setting is quite beautiful, private and secure, across from a large park, and within easy walking distance to train stations.
What can I say about this STUNNING location and amazing host that has not already been said? The Church is an incredible almost surreal place to stay. Its lofty ceilings and exquisite decor are decadent. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is gourmet, and the bathrooms are a slice of paradise. From this location you are a 10 second walk from one of the most gorgeous parks in all of Glasgow (Queens Park is directly across the street), a 5 minute walk to the train station and the trendy shops and restaurants of the south side, and a 10-12 minute train ride to Glasgow Central Station, connecting you to every neighbourhood in the city and every town and city in the Scotland by ScotRail. Getting anywhere from the Church is quick, easy and efficient (you can basically walk anywhere, too - a gentle stride for 30-45 minutes and you'll be in most places in central Glasgow by foot). None of this even matters when compared to the generosity and awesomeness of Arelene. Staying here is like visiting a best friend for life. You will not have a better or more attentive host. Arlene leaves her home very clean and very finely appointed for even the fussiest of traveller. If you stay here... you will be glad you did so... and when you stay here.... you will be sad to say goodbye. This truly is the very best vantage point to enjoy and explore everything that this incredible city has to offer!!
Arlene was a fantastic host. She met us on arrival and gave us a tour of her beautiful home. The house itself is even more impressive in person. Everything about the house surpassed expectations. The house is in a beautiful neighbourhood, with the lovely Queen's Park right opposite. We were also given restaurant recommendations and were told how to find our way around the neighbourhood. We felt very comfortable in her home, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Arlene responded in record time, we only booked on the day so very short notice. We loved the location and the suggestion of visiting the Mulberry was gratefully accepted. Monday night quiz was a blast.
Great communication, fabulous home and such an enjoyable time spent in Arlene's southside home. We booked for a family birthday and it was perfect for the six of us. Would love to return and thoroughly recommend it.
The apartment in this converted church is really lovely, and as a bonus it has the only bathtub we've found in Scotland! We found the space roomy and comfortable.
Arlene was a lovely host! Very prompt with replies and flexible with check-in/out times. She provided a warm welcome and a tour of her wonderful home! It really is stunning! Great location... lovely leafy grounds and only £5 for a taxi into town for 4 people! Arlene provided all the useful tips we needed about the area and we all really enjoyed our stay! We only wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks again Arlene! :)

Alan was a lovely host who made my stay in Glasgow fun and easy. The apartment has terrific views of the city and is very clean and chic. Alan was extremely accommodating and a very caring host.
Great place to stay in Glasgow. Alan and Richard do everything to make your stay unforgettable. They are very friendly and helpful in every situation. Apart from that, the apartment is very stylished furnished with a great view to the river. It is a place to feel comfortable.
Great apartment in a great location with a really helpful host - thanks Alan. We really appreciated the opportunity to use the patio and living area in the apartment as Glasgow was basking in Mediterranean heat when we visited. We were in Glasgow to visit friends and family and found Alan's place to be a perfect location - easy to walk into the centre of the City and really convenient for 'funky Finnieston'. All in all, a great experience.
I received a very warm welcome. It is a beautiful penthouse in a nice location. The photos of the accommodation are very accurate. It was just few minutes to SECC, which was the purpose of my trip, and only 10 minutes of walking to the city centre. My room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed.
Alan and Richard are Great hosts. In Addition Alan Face gave us a pick-up Lift from the Airport als he was around there. The view from the balcon is really Great overlooking River Clyde to the Southern Lowland hills. WE are coming back having a Second Stay again in Glasgow with them - what shall count more? Really worth Staying with them!!!
Such a pleasant stay at Alan and Richards. Both lovely people who made us feel more than at home. Very spacious apartment with own room downstairs on separate floor. A lovely oat and fruit breakfast dish was made for us which we loved
Alan and Richard were very friendly and hospitable. The room was excellent, modern, fresh design with en-suite bathroom. Great for easy walking access to the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre and the Hydro and only 20 mins walk along the river into the town centre.
Really great hosts at this place! This was my first experience using air b&b and I absolutely enjoyed it! Better than Hotel! I definitely recommend the Alan & Richard accomodation I had no surprise, just like I expected:well located, modern, spacious comfy room, bathroom and coffe and tea in the room and a friendly welcome. Unfortunately I was in a professional trip…so no more time to chat with Alan and Richard. But I hope to come back to Glasgow to have time to visit city, and to host me, I will without hesitation coming back to Alan and Richard’s flat! Thank you so much!

Gorgeous apartment in the heart of Glasgow's vibrant west end. We've done all we can to make this bright, spacious flat a fantastic place to stay - combining a touch of retro style and elegance with great coffee, a big comfy bed and a power shower. Everything has been done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The interior has been recently refurbished - given a grace and elegance appropriate to this landmark building designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson in 1865. But with a touch of retro-styling and quirkiness. The living room is bright and spacious with high ceilings, ornate cornicing, a marble fireplace and large sash windows which let in lots of light. There's plenty of room to relax, eat, cook, watch TV or listen to music. There's a HD TV and DVD player and you'll find a selection of DVDs, books, games and guide books. There's an iPhone dock. And plenty of cushions and throws. So please feel free to get comfy and put your feet up. The flat is centrally heated. It warms up quickly and it's easy to adjust the temperature to suit you. The kitchen has everything you'll need: dishwasher, combined oven/grill/microwave, an induction hob and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. There's plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils so you can use whatever you like and just pop it in the dishwasher. No need to keep washing up. There's a range of herbs, spices, oils etc so if you're planning to cook you should only need to buy main ingredients. There's a range of tea bags and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine to start you off. Help yourself to muesli, porridge and cornflakes. You'll find milk in the fridge when you arrive. The sofa easily converts to a double sofa-bed with feather duvet and pillows stored inside. The shutters can be closed to keep in the warmth and keep out the light. The bedroom has a sturdy kingsize bed with a memory foam mattress topper. Feather duvet and pillows - If you're allergic let me know and we'll replace them. The full-length curtains are thermal-lined and the shutters can be closed too. The bedside lights can be switched on and off with just the touch of a hand. In the tall chest of drawers you'll find a hair-dryer. The wardrobe has plenty of wooden hangers and space to store your luggage. The bathroom is bright and fresh with a good-sized bath and a powerful shower with constant hot water. There are white fluffy towels. Hand-wash, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. A socket for a shaver or toothbrush. A big mirror. Plenty of light, hooks and places to put your things. There's even a toilet seat that closes on its own. Well almost. You just have to start it off. In the hall there's a full-length mirror, hooks for jackets, plenty of space to kick off your shoes. And a cupboard that houses a washer/dryer, iron, ironing board etc. There's also a drying rack that fits above the bath. In the hall you'll find movement sensitive night-lights to guide you if you need to get up in the night. I have only been on AirBnb since the beginning of February and am amazed at how many bookings I've had already. If you're interested in staying at my apartment please get in touch as it seems to be booking up fast. You will have exclusive use of the apartment during your stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a four story terraced house that has been converted in to four flats. The neighbours are all very friendly. The flat is all on one level but there is a step up in to the living room and four steps up to the main entrance. The check out time is by 11.00 am and check in time is after 3.00. I shall be as accommodating as possible so please ask if you would prefer a different time. The closest underground is Kelvinbridge. Only three stops from the city centre. The station is a approximately a 5 minute walk (I can do it in 3 if I'm rushed) but it will probably take you a bit longer if you're a slow walker or you've got luggage. Buses go along Gibson St, University Ave and Great Western Rd where it's also fairly easy to pick up a taxi. This is a great place to explore Glasgow from. If you want to go further afield, less than 10 minutes on the Underground will get you within an easy walk of Central and Queen St Stations and Buchanan St Bus Station. Parking in Hillhead is largely for residents with permits. However, there is a limited number of metred parking spaces on the next block and in the surrounding streets. Parking is free in the adjoining areas (North Kelvinside and Dowanhill) so if you're coming by car you could drop off your luggage, go and park and walk back. If you're planning to do that let me know and I'll give you directions. I live next door. I'm happy to pop in to give you any help you might need or recommend places to visit but I appreciate that you may prefer to be left alone to enjoy your stay without interruption. Once I've checked that everything is okay for you I will leave you to enjoy your stay and trust that you will let me know if you need any help. You'll find easy to follow instructions for anything that may need them. I work full-time so I have a friend who will have the place looking gorgeous for your arrival. Vibrant and bohemian. Right in the heart of the bustling, fashionable west end. With more of an eclectic multi-cultural vibe than some of the other areas, Hillhead, home to Glasgow University, is popular with students and academics. But you'll also find plenty of artists, writers, musicians and other generally creative liberal types here too. The local shops around the corner on Great Western Road reflect this. We have Roots and Fruits, a wholefood deli, florist and greengrocers. Purveyors of such delicacies as dirty carrots, alfalfa sprouts and heritage root beer. Pop in to Cottonrake Bakery for a warm sourdough loaf or pick up a box of delicate Raspberry Frangipanes for afternoon tea. All baked in-store. The Glasgow Vintage Company is a 2 storey dressing-up box of bargains for anyone - men and women - looking for something quirky and unique. Valhalla's Goat stocks craft beer and organic wine in case you fancy indulging without the hangover. Mellis, a speciality cheese shop is famously queued round the block at Christmas. Such is the draw of it's Isle of Mull Cheddar. Cook has delicious chef-made meals to take home and enjoy. The staff are great. As are there Lamb Tagines and Sticky Toffee Puddings. For general supplies there's the Co-Op Supermarket. Small but perfectly stocked. And open from early till late. Round the corner in Otago Street more vintage clothing from Retro and browsable mid-century furnishings from Authentics. You might see Paul or Robert out on the steps polishing-up their latest find. They're always up for a chat. If you're a music lover you'll love CC Music Shop. If you want to stretch out drop in to Otago Steet Pilates for a class with Rhona and her team. Tchai-Ovna serves up to 100 different types of tea, exhibitions and live music from an old stables in Otago Lane. Round in Bank Street Rajous's convenience store is hard to miss. He pipes funk, soul or jazz in to the street. His samosas are hard to beat. As is his smile and his fine line in jovial banter. In Gibson Street Stravaigin goes head to head with The Left Bank to see who can be the best gastro-pub in town. Artisan Roast serves up its own award-wining coffee with local, organic, vegan and gluten free delights. As achingly cool as it's warm and welcoming. Family run Eusebi Deli is a relatively new addition to the area. But they have been welcomed with open arms ... and mouths. For a bit of culture head to the Hunterian Art Gallery and Museum and visit the home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Before heading north along the river to The Botanic Gardens stop off under the bridge for a pint of cask ale and a stone-baked pizza at Inn Deep. Check out their Stag in a Kilt mural or just hang out on their terrace and watch the world and his dog go by. All this ... and more ... is within just 500 yards of your front door. A short walk over the hill takes you to Byres Rd and the lanes: Cresswell, Ashton and Ruthven, for more shopping and nightlife. There's even a wee cinema with couches for two! Take a wander along the Kelvin Walkway in to Kelvingrove Park towards the world-renowned Kelvingrove Museum. Famous for its magnificent organ. (Yes really!) Or head towards Finnieston for an eclectic selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Favourites include The Gannett for fine Scottish dining. And The Steamie with its over-sized tea cups which take two hands to lift. Its old-school workbench counter is laden with thick doorstop slices of home-made cakes. I can vouch for the Lemon and Poppy seed and the delicious Iced Gingerbread. That's probably enough to give you a sense of what my pure dead brilliant amazing neighbourhood has to offer! If you'd like to come and stay I'd love to hear from you so please get in touch. The closest underground is Kelvinbridge. Only three stops from Buchanan St in the city centre. The station is approximately a 5 minute walk (I can do it in 3 if I'm rushed) but it will probably take you a bit longer if you're a slow walker or you've got luggage. Buses go in to town along Gibson St, University Ave and Great Western Rd where it's also fairly easy to pick up a taxi. This is a great place to explore Glasgow from. If you want to go further afield you can even get a bus to Oban from the end of the street. Parking in Hillhead is largely for residents with permits. However, there is a limited number of metred parking spaces on the next block and in the surrounding streets. Parking is free in the adjoining areas: North Kelvinside and Dowanhill. So if you're coming by car you could drop off your luggage, drive to find a parking space and walk back. If you're planning to do that let me know and I'll give you directions. I've written a manual to help make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible. It tells you simply and clearly where everything is and how it all works. I've included emergency contact numbers, directions to the nearest chemist, what to do when checking out, Wifi password etc. I thought about posting it here but it's a pretty dry read so I'm not going to subject you to that ... yet!! That said if you would like to peruse it at your leisure before you arrive just let me know when you book and I'll email you a copy.læs mere

Caroline was new to AirBnB hosting but you would not have known it. She has really made a huge effort to make the apartment attractive, comfortable with all the mod cons. It was a pleasure to stay in and in fact the eight days passed so quickly I was sorry to say goodbye. Coroline leaves you to it but was also willing to offer as much advice as needed. Highly recommended Thanks!! Peter
The apartment was beautiful, well stocked, and cozy. We loved the neighborhood- lots of great places to explore within a short walk. Would definitely stay there again.
Caroline's apartment is every bit as beautiful in real life as it is in the photos. Importantly, as well as a fine attention to aesthetics, Caroline has taken care to make the space comfortable: a luxurious bed, well stocked kitchen essentials and thoughtful finishing touches, such as throws on the sofa, helped us to feel at home after long days of exploring. Situated on an inconspicuous street in the heart of the university, the apartment gave us easy access to the West End. The perfect retreat for a flying Glasgow visit.
Eveything for our stay was perfect! The flat was clean and (URL HIDDEN) friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. I wish we could've stayed longer!
This listing is everything as advertised and more. A beautifully decorated and architecturally stunning flat in the West End of Glasgow. I have rented vacation homes from other sites and would say this was, by far, my favorite. The owner provided every possible amenity we needed for a pleasant holiday. The flat is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, pubs, etc. I hope to rent this listing again!
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful flat.
Great, sunny and spacious apartment in a nice area of Glasgow. Caroline was a fantastic host and was very accommodating. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to visit Glasgow and go home at night to a quieter and beautiful area of the city.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers & business travellers. If you like being bang in the centre of all the action, then this is the place! With gigantic windows over the busiest clubbing street in the city, there is always plenty to see! The heart of the city is a bustling, vibrant and busy place - if you're a very light sleeper, this may not be the best place for you. However, we do provide ear plugs and a white noise machine to help guests get a good night's sleep. With gorgeous big Victorian windows overlooking the Glasgow School of Art, this is a really unique place to stay. It's a busy street, so don't expect silence at night - rather, this is like being in a city that never sleeps! We have just renovated the whole flat, painting it in Farrow and Ball colours and installing a brand-new Ikea kitchen with all-new appliances. With super-soft cotton bedding and a snuggly duvet, it's a great place to rest your head after a busy day (and night!) out. All of it! My husband James and I will be on hand throughout your stay if you have any questions or concerns, or just want some tips about places to check out! We're in a fantastic central location a fifteen-minute walk from George Square and about ten minutes from the West End, so we're pretty handy for most things you would want to see and do in Glasgow, be it the School of Art, Kelvingrove Museum, shopping on Buchanan Street or going for drinks in the Merchant City. We go out for dinner a lot so do ask us if you'd like a recommendation, or for us to book a table somewhere for you! You can walk pretty much everywhere from here - it's about a ten-minute walk from Buchanan bus station, about fifteen minutes from Glasgow Central train station and is close to several bus routes too. There is also the option of Uber for getting to and from the airport - it normally only costs around £15-20. If you have trouble sleeping, we do supply earplugs and a white noise machine - however, it should be noted that without either of these, the street noise can be quite disruptive so unless you are used to sleeping in a city environment you may struggle with this.læs mere
Stephanie & James were terrific hosts. Easily contactable & full of great tips & recommendations. The flat is perfectly situated, right in the middle of the action & close to the west end. Our stay was safe & comfortable. The flat itself was a treat with great views & everything we needed. Thanks again guys!
Stephanie's flat was exactly as described. Clean and modern and right in the centre of Glasgow - perfect for exploring the city! Stephanie was very friendly and was really helpful with making suggestions on places to eat and drink in Glasgow. We needed a slightly later checkout due to a late flight and Stephanie was great with that!
My boyfriend and I came through for a gig at the art school and it was amazing! Great location, beautiful flat and great hosts!
Great. Great flat Great location And great hosts. Thnx to James & steph for mkn my first airbnb a good one.
Wonderful stay in Glasgow. James and Stephanie were very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. We took their advice the first night, and had an outstanding dinner! The apartment was in a great location near a lot of activity. We were able to walk everywhere. The flat itself was impeccable, cozy, and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
I had such a pleasant stay Stephanie and James' place. They happily greeted me at the flat despite my very early arrival into Glasgow. They left some treats for my arrival (which was greatly appreciated after my red eye flight). The flat offers a stunning view with large windows, all the amenities of home, and accessibility to shopping, tourism, cafes, restaurants, and night life. I would certainly recommend this flat. Stephanie and James were great hosts.
Received a very warm welcome from Stephanie's husband James on arrival and he allowed us to leave our bags whilst the apartment was being prepared. Both Stephanie and James were on hand to answer any queries we had and very quick to reply to any messages sent. The apartment itself was beautiful and if anything even nicer than the pictures show. We found the location extremely convenient for nearby shops, bars and restaurants. Overall myself and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the apartment to anyone.
Stephanie's flat is not only incredibly beautiful and comfortable, it is in a prime location for pretty much everything you would want to do in Glasgow. My friend and I felt so comfortable there, loved exploring the streets and being able to quickly come back to prepare for the next thing. Stephanie and her husband were so polite, friendly, and super quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience Stephanie! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This apartment is in a fantastic location in Glasgow, we had travelled up to see my brother's final degree show, as he was graduating from GSA, and couldn't believe it when we discovered we were staying opposite the show. It is close to the train station and within a short walk of some very trendy bars. There is also a small tesco on the corner which is really handy for any food/drink items. It is really spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The host was really easy to communicate with and very helpful in answering all my questions. I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend staying here.
Had a great stay thanks Thomas! :)
My 3 companions and I enjoyed our stay in Glasgow immensely; it was a complete success. Thomas's apartment was a huge factor in its success. The handover of keys was perfectly timed and messages were clear and concise. The apartment on arrival presented a spacious and clean, comfortable and light, private and convenient, including a vast array of good quality equipment to assist every function of domestic life.
The flat is very spacious and perfect location for the various restaurants and bars around Merchant City. We found it well appointed and clean. We will certainly use it again when next in the area.
The flat was really great. Location wise it is right next to all the restaurants and bars of the lovely merchant city area of Glasgow. This area is right in the centre and easy to navigate around Glasgow from. The apartment was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos and had lots of nice touches like shampoo and hand soaps and things. The apartment was very clean and of a high standard of furnishing. There was some slight confusion with the keys- they were not at the pick up place- but, after a phone call, the cleaner came down with the keys and was very helpful in sorting out the problem. I very much recommend this apartment for a city break to Glasgow.
Great apartment. Clean, had everything you would want. The location was perfect, close to a grocery store and all the sights in Glasgow. Would absolutely stay again!
Great apartment, great area, great host!
The apartment was fantastic, even better than the pictures showed and the fact that there was parking available was a massive plus point. The location was fine and central with everywhere that we needed to go within walking distance or a short taxi journey away. I would happily stay again and will most likely be my first port of call then next time I'm in Glasgow.

Prime Location. This stylish flat has a cosy cottage-like feel on a quiet leafy street with access through the garden. It is next to the University, Kelvingrove, Botanics and a 3min walk to Byres Road with cafes, bars, supermarkets and Hillhead Tube. This is a rare property to find in such a great location. It has the feel of a cottage; entry through the private garden, low ceilings and solid oak flooring. It has been refurbished to a high standard with the furniture and fittings giving the space a bright contemporary feel. With one bedroom and a second double fold-down Habitat sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area this apartment can sleep 4. Guests have access to the whole flat including the private garden. There is a main entrance upstairs and also a backdoor through the garden into the lane which leads to all the cafes, shops and transport on Byres Road. Parking outside the apartment is free! Ruthven Lane is 2 mins away with it's quirky 50's and antique shops. It's a short 10 min walk turning left along Byres Road to Great Western Road and The Botanical Gardens where you can wander round the Glass Houses and have a cuppa inside the beautiful Kibble Palace. You will love The Oran Mor, an old converted chuch opposite the Botanics at the end of Byres Road. There you can have a meal or pop in for a pint and admire our local artist Alasdair Gray's painted ceiling or even enjoy a one hour theatre show with a free beverage and pie downstairs at "A Play A Pie And A Pint" every afternoon. The apartment is very nice and cosy, close to all the comodities and near the center of Glasgow without all the noise you have in a city center. We haven't got to meet Ruby but she was very helpful and she left lots of good recomendations in the flat. We would definitely go back!
Ruby's place was fantastic -- a great, quiet, and clean location in the West End, with a tranquil, pleasant garden in the backyard, and easy access to everything we wanted around Byres Road and the university. We had a great time in Glasgow and at Ruby's place.
Suuuper cute flat, exactly as described. Very nice and responsive host!
Terrific flat - excellent location for byres road and place is spotless and beautifully decorated. Loved the nice welcome touches - milk / croissants etc - felt like home ! Thoroughly recommend !
We loved Ruby's place. The description is exact and this lovely apartment looks as nice in the photos as it actually is in person. The place is homely and it has lots of books and some dvds to keep you entertained in the cold nights. The garden is lovely as well, but it was a bit chilly and didn't get to enjoy much. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and Ruby left us some milk, coffee and pastries which were very welcome, especially because our flight was delayed and we only made it in at around midnight. The location is great, only a few steps from Byres Rd and Great Western Rd so the heart of the Glasgow West End with its buzz of pubs and restaurants. Perfect for what we had in mind to enjoy this lively city. It is a very easy location to get out of Glasgow and explore the West Coast and central Scotland if you are travelling by car. Parking the car park was fairly easy as well around the apartment. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Glasgow! Thank you Ruby!
A small but perfectly formed and thought out flat. Suited us with 2 kids (age 6 & 8). Great location, quiet neighbourhood. Ruby met us upon arrival and was very helpful. Thoroughly recommend for a short stay.
We had a fabulous time at Ruby's flat. The flat itself is beautiful , clean and makes great use of a small space having the lovely garden is a real bonus! The location could not be better and is within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and just round the corner from the botanical gardens. I could not recommend this more highly, ruby was an excellent host and provided really useful extras like milk, cereal, tea etc. and offered a warm welcome! Will definitely be returning! Thank you
The flat was exactly as described and Ruby very kindly left me some croissant and coffee for breakfast which was very welcome as I arrived later than I expected. this is a great place and the garden access makes it feel like a cottage rather than a flat. I will definitely be going back!

Charming Victorian Period flat, with designer features but all the modern comforts of a home from home. This newly re-furbished apartment has three new and very comfortable double beds, one with en-suite shower room. All bedrooms and the living room have a flatscreen TV/DVD. The fully equipped kitchen is brand new, with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a separate sitting room with sofa and chairs to relax, and an iPod dock/speaker, which is also a charger. The central heating gives instant hot water, and there is everything you would expect in a home away from home, I have just installed super fast fibre optic wireless broadband, so you can enjoy internet access and emails while you are staying. The username and password are given in the instruction manual once your booking is confirmed. Fresh bedding and towels are provided as standard. Please note that the price is 99GBP for the first guest, with a modest 12GBP additional charge for every subsequent guest up to a maximum of six guests. This is to cover cleaning, laundry and utilities. Located near to Charing Cross, and very close to Glasgow University, It is almost on the edge of Kelvingrove Park with its Art Gallery. Nearby Gibson Street has endless bars, cafes and late night shops. Byres Road with its restaurants, shops and Waitrose supermarket is an easy walk. Kelvinbridge underground will whisk you into the centre in minutes, but there are also lots of buses and taxis which are quite affordable in this small city. Please note that as I live in London, you will be given the keys by a friend who lives close by, or the Housekeeper, Jacqueline. A word about check in/out. You must check out by 11 am at the very latest. Check OUT is very simple, as you you just post the last set of keys through the letterbox when you leave, and send me a quick message to say that the flat is ready for the housekeeper to service. For check in, we will always try to be flexible, and try to meet your arrival time, but do please ask if you think you are likely to arrive particularly late or early. If there is a departing guest on your arrival day, we will need enough time to service the flat before we let you in. This will usually be after 2.30 pm. As the key holder has to be on stand-by, it is extremely important that you arrive at the arranged time, so that he or she is not left waiting endlessly. If you are delayed for any reason, please be courteous and let them know as soon as you can. Once you have a confirmed booking, you will have access to their number and email, so that you can contact them directly. Parking in Glasgow - it's never simple. I usually have a car when I am up, and here's what I know. Free parking first. There is a little lane just behind the school opposite. If you can get in there it's free. I usually manage this. Alternatively there is free parking on the other side of Great Western Road in Belmont Street. This is a six minute walk from the flat. A little patience will usually get you a space. Then there is the park and ride at Kelvinbridge Underground station. If you are using the underground a whole day's parking costs 5 pounds, and you can leave the car there until 11. 30 pm, when the car park auto-locks. I think you can leave the vehicle overnight for free if you are sure you will not need it until 8 am the next morning. 2 mins walk from the flat. Parking in a metered space is easy and not too expensive - you pay from 8 am to 6 pm, then it's free. It is not ridiculously expensive, and you pay at a meter. I have never yet had to resort to this, but there are always spaces to be had. In short, you will always be able to park, but may occasionally have to pay. I tried for a parking permit, but it is not transferable to another car so of no use to me or my guests. Hope that is some help. The whole Flat, and all its amenities. I am always contactable by text or email, and the housekeeper lives very near, and can be contacted in case of emergency. This tiny pocket of the West End is just the best. Literally a few steps away are the shops, cafés, bars and restaurants of Gibson Street, yet the flat itself is quiet, and benefits from great natural light, thanks to the fact that there are no flats on the opposite side of the street, just a rather chic new modern-designed school. The location in on the edge of Kelvingrove park, with its museum and Art Gallery, and ten paces from Glasgow University, with its beautiful architecture, and Hunterian Museum. Also Nearby in A Neo-Classical Church, and The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House - a must-see for any visitor. The best thing is that you can walk to Byres Road, or into the town Centre, via Charing Cross. However transport is amazing. There are buses from nearby Gibson Street, the underground is a mere 4 mintes walk, and in four stops will whisk you into the City Centre. Taxis are also remarkably affordable, and arrive very quickly thanks to a central telephone booking system. Just call (phone number hidden). They can also be booked in advance for airport or train departures.læs mere
El apartamento es muy confortable. Está muy bien situado, muy cerca del centro de la ciudad y justo al lado de la Universidad. Allan es un excelente anfitrión, contestó rápidamente todos nuestros mensajes.
Very nice and sweet home
Good value for money. it is a very cosy appartment in a beautiful area in Glasgow and not so far from the city.
It really is a luxury home, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, the location is excellent. Had a great time with the family.
Great flat and location. Allan was very helpful providing any information that I needed
The beautiful flat is perfectly located for exploring Glasgow. It is based in the West End very near to Byres Road and Ashton Lane with their plethora of bars and restaurants. It is on the edge of Kelvingrove Park and close to the museum and art gallery as well as the Mackintosh House and Hunterian. It is moments away from the nearest subway station for quick access to central Glasgow and Merchant City. The flat itself is very stylish and comfortable with all modern conveniences and very high ceilings. There are local stores very close by but you'll find pretty much everything you'd need already there. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
Allan's place was exactly as described and an absolute delight! Loved Glasgow and the west end and having a beautiful and comfortable flat to come back to was great. Thanks!
Nice stay. Very comfortable apartment. Slightly noisey at night but that is to be expected as it was a Saturday night that we stayed. Thanks and will stay again

Glasgow University, Botanical Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Rennie MacIntosh House, all less than 10 min walk, beautiful parks, river walks and restaurants, cafes etc just outside. Queen Margaret Dr is the Botanical Gardens part of Byres Rd. Period Victorian Apartment with two large double bedrooms, bay windowed lounge. Edwardian shower and bath. Cable broadband. Above two really good Italian cafes and views of the Botanical Gardens. Kelvin River scenic walk right outside, but only mins walk from all the restaurants, bars and cafes in Glasgow's West End. The apartment is yours, and yours alone. I live round the corner. I will meet you, give you the keys, a map, a wee introduction to some of the hiddens gems nearby. (Most of them discovered by guests, have to admit.) Cuppa tea, quick tour of the apartment (it's only two bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, kitchen, so it's a pretty quick tour.) After that, you can contact me ANY time, 'bout anything, if I don't know (probably won't) I can find out, no worries. Queen Margaret Drive is the same street as Byres Rd, a friendly little community with a lot of cafes, craft shops and everything from knitting, piercings to bakeries catered for. You can walk to the vity centre in 25 minutes, but the Subway (Underground Metro) and bus services are 7 minutes walk. (I geekily timed it.)læs mere
Dave is a total PEACH. He was so helpful and friendly, booking us a taxi, giving us top tips and generally being warm and lovely. The flat is great, we stayed with our two kids and it was just perfect. A couple of food shops on the doorstep too. The area was fab, we felt very safe and our time was over all too soon. Thanks Dave! x
Great location. House was beautiful and cozy. Our host was really welcoming and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
Dave is an outstanding host. We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome drinks, the freshly ground coffee in the morning and flipping through the large collection of books available in the flat. It is a spacious and cosy place and Dave tops it all up with a cherry of Scottish hospitality. Highly recommended!
Dave was great. He was available by chat and email, and met us on arrival. He took time to show us around his apartment. He gave us directions for getting around the city, and simply instructions for our departure.
We stayed here as we had travelled from Manchester to see Noel Gallagher. What a charming apartment in a lovely area of Glasgow. Communication with Dave from booking to check in was great and he even allowed us to check in early. We had breakfast at William Cafe the next day which was amazing! Avocado on toast yum yum!
Great experience in Glasgow. Dave went out of his way to assist. Good location, lots to see and do. Thanks Dave
Dave was a great host, by first sending information about Glasgow. Then he was then there to meet us on arrival and made sure we were settled. he also sent a text half way through our trip to make sure we were ok and didn't need anything. Lovely characterful flat, we would certainly stay again.
Dave is a very very nice person. He settled all the facilities before we arrive and prepared welcome cakes box to us as a surprise. The apartment is fantastic. Just like the place where I lived in my childhood. All the decorations and the facilities are wonderful. Location is great. Just 15 minutes drive to city center. We can easily find it. And it is also very convenient to have meals and get to supermarket. I will highly recommend it to my friends and relatives. Thanks again! Yong Pei 06/19/2016

Great getaway cabin on the Banks of Loch Lomond, fantastic views of the loch and surrounding mountains. A great base for enjoying the many water sports available on the loch, hill walking or simply a relaxing break. Continental breakfast included. The cabin is self contained with an en suite shower room, TV and free WiFi. A substantial continental breakfast is provided within the cabin. There is a covered balcony area and garden. Our biggest asset without doubt is the unrestricted stunning views of Loch Lomond and surrounding mountains. We are in the village and within a five minute walk of all local amenities. If you are attending a wedding in the village we are located 50 metres from the church and a five minute walk to both local hotels. There is private access to the cabin from the road which can be locked, guests will be provided with a key for this and for the cabin on arrival. As the cabin is located in the grounds of my garden i am here most of the time. I am happy to help guests in any way i can to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Amazing views, cabin is beautifully presented, nice fresh fruit in the fridge and breakfast food with coffee tea and hot chcolate. Very clean and tidy. The host was lovely and show enus to the cabin. Would highly recommend.
Alyson's place was great. The view was unbeatable; the pictures didn't really do it justice. The unit itself was very clean and the breakfast she'd left was over and beyond what I'd expected and was a very nice treat. It was a little hard to find- definitely needed Alyson's directions on that- but I think that was mainly because our GPS didn't have that street in its database.
Beautiful lodge in a tranquil spot. Easy check in and communications. The breakfast was really thoughtful and much appreciated. Can't recommend enough.
Alyson was a great host and sorted clear directions for us to arrive. She also sorted a great breakfast that was already organised and put in the fridge and cupboards. The cabin had amazing views in a very relaxing setting with great walks close by. Would really recommend this!
Brilliant place to stay on the lake. Top private, nicely decorated extremely comfortable cabin with outstanding view. + welcoming and caring host + super breakfast. What else can anybody need for a good journey)? Highest recommendation.
What a fantastic place to stay! We had a brilliant stay here - the cabin is very cosy and nicely decorated and the view of Loch Lomond was incredible. Alyson looked after us very well and the extras which came with the cabin such as the delicious breakfast made the stay extra special. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough, it simply doesn't get much better than this. Fabulous views of the Loch in a beautifully location with an amazing host who couldn't have been more helpful. Also an amazing selection of treats for breakfast, highly recommend.
Such a wonderful host and what an amazing space!! Alyson was very kind, warm and thoughtful host. She really helped to make our last night of our honeymoon a memorable one. The neighborhood is just lovely and the views from this cabin are breathtaking. Such a pleasure to be able to watch the sun set and rise that last day in Scotland. The cabin was spotless and there were so many selections for breakfast the next day which you could tell were thoughtfully planned out. Could not have asked for more. One of our favorite stops that We will never forget.

Lovely, cosy one bedroom flat, nicely decorated and furnished. Central location. Near St George's Cross underground, city centre & west end. I had an absolutely lovely time at Claire's flat. She gave me a tour upon arrival (even though I was late!), and then left me to it-- she provided a useful list of instructions, and was quick to reply to my questions. The flat is in a great location for accessing both the West End and City Centre, with lots of pubs, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The building/flat is clean, feels safe, and has a lovely wee back garden. Highly recommended for a stay in Glasgow!
I stayed at Claire's flat for several weeks whilst working in Glasgow, and the minute I walked through the door I felt at home. The flat is bigger than you would think from the photos, very comfortable and is in the perfect location- just out of the hussle and bustle of town, but close enough to be in the centre or the west end in a few minutes. Claire is a great host; warm, welcoming, communicative and very obliging. I had a couple of queries during my stay and Claire responded very quickly and sorted them straight out. I very much hope to stay here again next time I'm in Glasgow. Highly recommended!

We are thankful to have Vikki as our host. She is accomodating to our request and provide us with good breakfast. The house is next to the river and we like the ambience very much. We would like to recommend to other travellers.
Fantastic accommodation in a gorgeous setting. Vicki was such a great host and the tips she gave us for days out were just perfect. A super base to explore Loch Lomand and The Trossachs. Breakfast was delicious as was home made cake on arrival. Large glasses of wine in the evening were also greatly appreciated in front of log fire. Thank you so much.
Vicki was a great host and very warm and welcoming. We felt right at home and her house is clean and beautiful. A super host and a pleasure to be a guest there. I would highly recommend her home to anyone.
We had a delicoous 3 nites/4 days with Vickie at her lovely home perched on the banks of a meandering stream. We've never been made to feel more comfortable or welcome by anyone! Breakfasts were divine and her family and cat delightful. We highly recommend the Old Mill Cottage and the surrounding areas for hiking, dining and sightseeing.
My family and I stayed at Vicki´s - and we had a wonderful stay - Vicki was very hospitable and nothing was a problem. I warmly recommend her Bed & Breakfast.
We spent two fantastic nights at Vicki's cottage. Vicki was a brilliant host; very welcoming and friendly. The house was beautiful, and perfectly located for trips to Loch Lomond and beyond. I thoroughly recommend staying here, it's without a doubt one of the best airbnb's I have seen. Lastly, Vicki made a delicious breakfast every morning and kindly provided refreshments throughout. Overall, a fantastic place!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B in Croftamie. V icky was a very friendly host and the house itself is amazing, clean and beautifully located.
The Old Mill Cottage is a hidden gem in the Loch Lomond area. Vicki is a lovely host, she does everything to make you feel welcome. The bedroom was more than perfect, bathroom was clean and the noise of the stream near the house (when you leave the window open) sets you off to sleep in a few seconds. The breakfast is bonkers! Vicki is a master in the kitchen. Soggy eggs with bacon.. or haggis yeah it was above my expectations :) Steven (her husband) was more than kind enough to show me the places that I needed to see on the map. He knows Scotland on his fingertips. Like Scotland itself The Old Mill Cottage was above my expectations.
