The building retains industrial mill parts which intersect multiple levels for a unique and generous living space. Its south-facing garden includes outside dining, wood-fired hot tub, and large lawn, home to wildlife and fruit-bearing trees. The area is popular for walking, mountain biking, SUPs, canoe hire and wild swimming. There is easy access to the River Wye for some stunning wild swims only a 20 minute walk through the village. There are 3 pubs, 2 churches, a hairdressers, a doctors surgery, a chippy and the excellent village shop with post office.

Alabaster Lodge is a detached lodge, built in 2023, situated on the owner’s 14-acre working farm. Set within the Wye Valley AONB with fabulous far reaching views of the rolling countryside. Warm and cosy, with full central heating, the lodge is an all year round destination for cyclists, walkers and nature enthusiasts. Uninterrupted views of the Wye Valley, where you can catch sight of birds of prey, including the beautiful red kites who can often be seen hovering over the fields on the farm.
