Staying at Jean Sebastian's house is such a pleasure! It is the most charming and beautiful cottage tucked in a peaceful and low-key residential neighborhood on the East side of Paris. It is a very friendly and charming area free from the hordes of tourists. It's three blocks from the nearest metro stop on line 3 - which can take you in minutes to Republique (and from there pretty much anywhere in town). Everything is very clean and well organized, and there is a lovely walled garden where you can hang out when the weather i nice. Bob the apricot poodle is super sweet and very entertaining. I can't recommend staying here highly enough!
JeanSeb is awesome. The home is beautiful and in a great, hip area of Paris. Well situated near public transit (the M3) and a ton of great bars and restaurants.
We lived in Jean-Sebastian’s house for 5 days. It was awesome! Jean- Sebastian was very helpful and answered our questions directly. Unfortunately we didn’t met him but when we needed him he was there.
The place is near the Pherique in a nice quit area with shops and restaurants just around the corner. The metro is 3 minutes walk and brings you in less than 15 minutes in the middle of the center of Paris. You can walk to the center we walked to Pompidou in about 30 minutes. You can park your car in the street. You have to pay but only for 2 hours (€2,40) and at the weekend it’s free. We stayed there every day for free. The old characteristic house is lovely with large rooms and nice decorated. It was clean and in the kitchen was everything you need.
We highly recommend this place. You will love it. It feels like home. We definitely come back.
Thanks for sharing your home with us Jean-Sebastian. Barry & Jacky
Jean Seb's place is the type of place which makes Airbnb what it is. I stayed in the larger or the rooms for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Jean Seb and Cecile are warm, relaxed and super friendly. Their house feels like a home from home. Since they have 3 rooms in total posted on airbnb you are likely to meet other airbnbers during your stay. We all had dinner a few times together which was a welcome surprise. I will be back in Paris next summer and hope to stay here again.
comfortable, beautiful house. very gracious and helpful hosts, above and beyond. easy to get in and around paris from this location. thank you!!!
Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, ma chambre était spacieuse et très agréable, la maison avait beaucoup de charme, et le quartier " La campagne à Paris" particulièrement calme.
Je recommande vivement cette adresse!
Jean, Cecile & Bob the dog where delightful hosts, room was large & spacious.. Jean also assisted me to get to the airport, as my flight was too early for the metro. Would highly recommend if you are coming to Paris!
Wow! What a great experience in the heart of the 20ème arrondissement. I couldn't have felt more welcomed by Jean and Cecile as they were the perfect hosts. They made me feel like it was my own house and as if I had known them for years. I had a great room on the second floor (1st floor in France) and could come and go as I pleased. I truly respect both them and highly recommend staying for a few weeks at least. Access to the Metro was so close and there was plenty to do nearby.
JeanSeb was a *wonderful* host -- very knowledgeable about the local area and Parisian/French life, and always willing to give a recommendation or go the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable. A super-nice guy.
Also, Bob the dog is freaking adorable.
Vraiment très bien. Maison très sympa, spacieuse et équipée tout bien comme il faut. Grande chambre agréable. Hôtes très accueillants. Je me suis sentie bien de suite.
