The guesthouse room is on the ground floor looking on to the terrace, with no vis-a-vis. We invite our guests to take advantage of the outdoor spaces: have breakfast on the terrace to the chirping of busy morning birds, read a book in the hammock under the old birch tree in the back yard, or sip an apéro as the sun goes down over the gardens.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
We are happy to suggest restaurants at all price ranges, some within a 10 minute drive and other exciting options in near Fontainebleau within a 30 minute drive.
We also offer a small apéro menu including charcuterie, cheese and wine which you can enjoy in the comfort of you room or outside in the garden.
Upon advanced request, we can arrange a 'table d'hôte' : group lunches or dinners in our main house or outside on the terrace. We come from a restaurant background and love to entertain, so this comes naturally to us. We ask for a minimum of 4 adults / maximum 12 adults. Set menus and prices are organised together with guests in advance. We use only the freshest ingredients and prioritise locally grown produce and high-quality fish and meat.
Our village is very calm and quiet, and the room is located in a private guesthouse. With that said, we do have two young children of our own who play in the garden. We will do our utmost to reasonably limit noise during bookings, but also ask guests' understanding as are not a hotel, we are a family who is happy to open our home :)
I am American, originally from Vermont, and have been living in France since 2004, now married to a Frenchman with two adorable children. After spending 10 years in Paris, we moved our family to the countryside 1 hour outside of the city to take advantage of more space, nature and a wholesome lifestyle. I am a luxury fashion business strategist and my husband is a restauranteur, we now both work predominantly from home. We enjoy welcoming travelers to our bucolic village who are in search of an authentic French experience. Located in a renovated 19th century farrier's stable, our guesthouse room is charming and tranquil. We also enjoy travelling, both for work and for pleasure. We are open minded and adventurous and love new experiences. We especially love to eat our way through our travels and discover local cuisine.
