Everything you need is here at our brand new guesthouse loft: a luxurious, lofted queen bedroom; high ceilings with floods of natural light, a modern kitchen, full bath with heated tile, comfy sleeper sofa for extra guests, and Stumptown Coffee with organic cream.

The loft rests at the back of the property, one block from bustling Division St, and short blocks from restaurants, coffeeshops, & the Woodsman Tavern, named “One of America’s Best Bars,” by Esquire Magazine.

The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space!

Guests park easily on the street in front of our house.

Adgang for gæster

Guests have access to a covered deck/patio and a gas grill.

Kontakt med gæster

We are a phone call (or a knock at our front door) away if you need us.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke

We provide an automatic coffee maker. Coffee from Stumptown provided, along with cream. We have select teas for tea drinkers as well.

Great place ... clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. All quite simple but very very appealing. Thanks Laurek and Brian!!!

Laurel and Brian have a gem. Excellent spot, great food nearby with great recommendations in the guestbook. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better location east of downtown. Walking distance to every quintessential Portland locale: Pok Pok, Stumptown, Por Que No?, Good Coffee, Salt and Straw,Kim Jong Grillin, Petite Provence ... the list goes on. Super clean comfy guest house, very quiet street, lots of privacy, no TV (which is always great on vaca), the perfect size. Must stay.

Take note of the local tips Laurel and Brian send, they are all spot on. Especially the croissants around the corner, we agree - the BEST we have had.

Laurel & Brian BrugerprofilLaurel & Brian er SuperHost.

I (Laurel) am a sustainability educator in K-12 schools throughout the Portland Metro region. I started my career as a German teacher, but transitioned to working in the environmental sustainability field around 10 years ago. If you have questions about compost, recycling, or energy efficiency, feel free to ask!

My husband, Brian, is a musician and teacher. I met him in a coffeeshop where he was playing his guitar way back in 2002. He started his teaching career in a music studio, and now teaches social studies and literacy at an alternative high school.

Brian and I both hail from the Midwest, and have a special love and appreciation for that region. We have lived in Portland since 2007, and love exploring the region.
