Shonna, I wish you would have figured out you did not have hot water before 9:37 PM Saturday night (the last night of you 2 night stay, have already been here since Friday night) to let us know you did not have hot water. When you texted us at 9:37 PM (Saturday night)we were at the doorstep in less than 5 mins and Chris pushed the button on the brand new (6 months) high altitude pilot-less water heater and it was restarted in 1 min. He than offered you an empty cabin that night to use to shower, but you declined saying you were all going to bed. Next time you have a problem with your hosts, let them know and Airbnb within 24 hours of the problem so the hosts can work out the issue. We are reasonable hosts. You wrote our review 4 days after checking out and gave us a 2 star and than 11 days after checking out requested almost all the money back. I wish you would have called us to talk about this and it all would have been a different outcome for us both. Also, we are 7,200 altitude up here and you must stay hydrated or you could get Altitude sickness until you acclimate or you could get headaches, super common! That most likely is the reason you got a headache when you got here and it went away when you left. So please stay hydrated guests. I'm glad you got to use the peddle boat and the kayaks for most of Saturday morning though and enjoyed our charming town. Well, we have been super hosts for 4 years now in a row and try very hard to help our guests enjoy Green Valley Lake California!
