This property is conveniently located within 10 minutes of Red Rocks Amphitheater, shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, hiking, fishing and much more. Only 25 minutes from downtown Denver and 45 minutes to the closest ski resort. DIA is just under an hour drive. The Guesthouse is located on the top of a mountain at the end of a long driveway. If you're coming during winter months a 4 wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. Uber and Lyft service this area
The guest house is completely detached from the main home. It has a private entrance. We often do not see our guests, but please don't hesitate to say hello if you wish to!
The interior space is decorated in a rustic Colorado mountain style. The room is satiated with natural light and incredible views coming in from windows on every side.
It is equipped with a coffee maker, electric stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and outdoor grill. All other appointments are of the highest quality.
The space is cozy but you will never want to leave.
The bed is a converted, beautiful leather and cowhide couch that has been made into a real queen size bed (It is not a pull-out couch). It has an amazing plush pillow top Simmons Beautyrest mattress and Italian Vintage washed, 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sateen sheets. It's like sleeping on a cloud.

A day or two before your arrival, you will receive a message that includes detailed driving directions, and a code to access the property. We do not need to be present to let you in, so a late check-in is no problem at all.
Check-in is 3pm (or any time after). Check-out is 11am. Late check-outs must be approved by us, and are often not available. Another guest is likely checking in the day you leave, and we need time to clean and prepare for their arrival.
Guest have access to outdoor living areas all around the house, fire pits, hiking trails, horseshoe pit, outdoor grill, hot tub, and more. The outdoor area is shared but there are enough separate seating areas that we can all still have privacy, if desired. Usually, we don't even see each other.
Only Verizon and Sprint work in this area.
Please understand the hot tub requires regular maintenance and cleaning based on usage. There is a small possibility that it may be undergoing maintenance during your visit. Please keep this in mind when booking. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict when maintenance needs to be done in advance.
4-wheel drive vehicles are recommended in the winter months.

This is a mountain house which means it's subject to severe weather conditions such as rain, snow, and ice. The house is located on the top of a mountain. We have a long driveway which switchbacks up the mountain. Please keep in mind that during winter months it may be difficult to keep up with snow removal. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended during winter months.
We are on our own septic system. Be mindful of the amount of paper products you flush. Having a sustainable water and sewage system is environmentally friendly but we are not attached to city water/sewage so please try to be extra attentive not to flush anything except toilet paper. Removing items that clog the system will be the responsibility of the tenant.
With over 200 Airbnb guests visiting our home we have immensely enjoyed the Airbnb community. Unfortunately due to a recent event with a guest we have decided to install security cameras around the exterior perimeter of the property for both the safety our guest and ourselves.
These cameras will only be monitored in the event of vandalism, theft or noncompliance to our house rules.
We deeply regret having to install these cameras and the potential invasion of privacy this may cause to our considerate guests.

This is a NON-SMOKING home. No smoking in, or on the property. It is not 420 friendly. This is a zero tolerance policy. If you are a smoker there are properties better suited for your needs. There is nowhere you can smoke on this property. If you or your guest choose to book and smoke in our home or on our property we will ask you to leave and charge you $250 for oder remediation. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE IF YOU SMOKE!!!

Please pay careful attention to the detailed directions I give. Please do not stop at the neighbors house on the way up. If you follow the detailed directions it will bring you straight to the house.

I am an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, mountain biking and pretty much anything that gives me an excuse to be outside.
I built my home with the idea that I wanted a secluded retreat that had a spa like feel. I wanted to be within minutes of people, shopping and great restaurants but I wanted to feel like I was million miles away.
I hope my guest will come relax, sit around the fire pit, tell stories, enjoy the hot tub, take in the magnificent views, and use the space as if it were their own.
