Looking forward to hearing from you, See you soon!
TO ANY AIRBNB GUEST
I decided to offer airport/bus pick-up to NYC visitors because although many taxi's are honest, when some see a tourist, they tend to act as though they are a foreigner too and get "lost" while seeming super helpful and patient. Then you pay the meter and they expect a more generous tip.
I live in Manhattan in a very easy location to get to, close to both highways and I have experienced this sad situation a few times when guests have taken a taxi.
Arranging with me, you are worry-free to arrive home and you will know the fare in advance.
Please treat my home as if it were your own or better.
Be respectful in the apartment, everyone should feel comfortable
Keep the apartment is drug-free, smoke-free 24 hours a day
Common Areas should always be kept clean (Example: tub, sink, kitchen, etc..).
Air conditioner, tv, and lights should not be left on while not in the house.
No non-reserved guest entry at any time.
Chris went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. He was super friendly so that it didn't feel like we were staying with a stranger. He did little things like showing us how to connect our laptop to the TV and how to work the sound system that he didn't have to do, but wanted to do.
The apartment was exactly like the listing. It had all the amenities you would need and everything was of good quality. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to New York.
After a horrible experience arriving the night before to our originally booked host not at the place or answering my calls, I ended up requesting to stay at Chris's place the following morning. He made sure I was aware of the location and check-in time before accepting.
Chris was great with accommodating my sister and I and we had the best time staying at his place. Everything was clean and he was very helpful with suggestions. The train is just a block away which made getting into the city very convenient and the area made me feel right at home.
Being able to stay here definitely turned the trip around for my sister and I. Next time I head to New York, I'm definitely checking his place first.
This is first time of using Airbnb service and we are quite satisfied with Chris room service. Chris is a helpful host who support us to pick up our luggage when we landed JFK airport in early morning and give us detailed guideline of using public transportation in NY. Thanks a lot!
I used Airbnb for my first time. Chris is very nice man. He answered all of my questions. His apartment is very close train station (one block away). It is about 30 minutes away from Time Square on subway.
We stayed with Chris for six nights and had a great time. The room was as pictured and the bed comfortable. We had access to both the bathroom and kitchen which were both kept clean. Chris had very helpful information for us and was very knowledgeable. The subway terminals were close by. I would stay here again.
Chris is a very good host. He gave us attention and support to enjoy NY. His apartment is very close to the subway station and has a lot of place to eat very close.
My friends and I had a lot of fun during our time in NY. Thank you very much my new friend Chris and you are very come in Brazil! (To drink the real Caipirinha)
