THIS LISTING IS NOT INFESTED, AIRBNB WOULDN'T ALLOW AN INFESTED LISTING TO CONTINUE. Its unfortunate that this happens, but let it be know that the guest house is treated with liquid poison once a month, and glue traps are laid to prevent any uncomfortable encounters. Nevertheless, bugs are very prevalent in Hollywood, and at my location which is litterally in the middle of all the action, there are six bars and five restaurants all with dumpsters close to my property. Occasionally there is a bug, but infestation is grossly exaggerated. The biggest problem with this visitor was no communication. I never once knew she was dealing with a pest issue, if I had I would've corrected it. Poison, a thorough check, and another once over and the issues are always solved. DO NOT FEAR THE POSSIBILITY OF A BUG HERE, bugs can be found in five star hotels, I know, I work at one. The host must be given the opportunity to correct the problem if there is one. Ive stated many times in the listing this is not a Ritz Carlton experience, it's an amazing location with a very responsive host here to address any and all needs. If you want action this is the place, if you want a quiet family friendly experience this is not the best option. I, the host, am a young social guy with a simple humble and cheap accomodation for travelers on a budget. As she said, everything was fine when they entered. And just to be clear, I immediately entered the unit to look for bugs. I did find a trail of ants which has been disbanded and treated and holes were plugged to prevent further entry. As for roaches, I found none, and I never saw her pictures. I have dogs and on occasion I miss a dropping, but that comes with the territory of staying at someone's house with dogs. Finally she never mentions how I quickly issued a refund for the night she decided to not stay with me, and worked quickly with her and airbnb to have a fair settlement. This in no way reflects the hundreds of people who stay with me monthly and never encounter a bug.
