Bright and sunny, this private penthouse loft on the top floor of a 3-family Victorian provides comfort and amenities beyond expectation. With your tranquil repose in mind and with state-of-the art technology, this space is for the discerning traveler who seeks comfort, value, cleanliness, peace of mind and privacy. Sleeps two comfortably; a third can be accommodated on the sleeper sofa. Off-street parking for 1 vehicle provided.
Egyptian cotton linens provided as a standard on the queen sized bed. Pillows are also encased in allergen protectors, eliminating dust mites and pollutants that interfere with your peaceful sleep. (OK, so I am a bit of a "freak" when it comes to prevention and cleanliness, I confess!) For those with allergies to feathers, cats, etc., there are none on the premises (down-alternative comforters and pillows), although there is a friendly mini-Schnauzer (hypo-allergenic breed) who "rules the roost" here and may be encountered on the property. However, your private space is off limits to him.
Extra linens and towels are provided, along with terry cloth robes, slippers, blow dryer, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, shower gels, toothbrushes, dental floss, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.
The apartment also comes fully equipped with a chef's kitchen including microwave, toaster, toaster oven, gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, pots and pans, pressure cooker, rotisserie oven, dinnerware, silverware, cutlery, coffee-maker (including French-press, mocha pot and Keurig® machine), tea kettle, burr coffee grinder, juicer, food processor, selection of teas, coffees (ground, whole bean, and for those in a rush, k-cups), condiments, and of course, disinfecting wipes! Additionally, the kitchen is equipped with every imaginary tool the finest chef could require.
Fresh fruit and juice (sealed and commercially supplied) and additional commercially prepared breakfast snacks supplied in fridge, along with a snack tray of assorted treats.
"Alexa" is your personal digital assistant, providing "smarthome" convenience courtesy of Amazon Echo®. Boston Acoustics® wireless speakers allow you to connect your Bluetooth® enabled mobile devices. Mac Desktop computer with dual 27 inch cinema display for browsing the web has a webcam (which, if you prefer, can be turned off) for video conferencing. Fios high speed wifi internet access provided for your mobile devices.
Carbon monoxide, fire/smoke detector, and fire extinguisher installed as standard safety protocol. Two umbrellas are also provided. The property has 24 hour security video surveillance of common areas, backyard, main entrances, and entrances to the guest unit. See house rules regarding the security cameras located in your unit.
The space has been treated with diatomaceous earth, a fine organic powder made from sea creatures that prevents pest infestation (bed bugs, etc.). The apartment is also regularly checked for any signs of problems, and routinely treated with organic prophylactics, just in case. An ounce of prevention...
In winter, a small electric fireplace adds additional heat, coziness and ambiance, should you desire. Snow removal is provided in the parking area and grounds for you and your vehicle, providing hassle-free egress and ingress.

Guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities in the basement of the house, equipped with detergent, fabric softener, bleach, iron and ironing board. The common patio area with grill and chiminea, tiki torches, table and chairs is also available (*see House Rules) for use.

I will make myself available for questions and concerns during your stay, if not personally, then via mobile. Other than that, you most probably may see me maintaining the gardens, walking Mr. Fritz (my overly friendly mini-Schnauzer), or attending to the common areas of the house. Otherwise, you are "on your own", and I will be non-intrusive.

A) No smoking is permitted in the space, although smoking is allowed on the grounds in the patio area, where you will find supplied an ashtray--please use it to dispose of your butts if you choose to smoke.
B) No pets allowed within the space unless by special prior written permission and under extenuating circumstances (service dogs, etc.)
C) Guests agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the "community" and refrain from any activity interfering with the quiet enjoyment of its residents. No parties are to be held on the premises without prior written permission.
D) Guests agree not to use the premises for any unlawful purpose.
E) Guests will be responsible for any fine or violation that is imposed due to guest negligence.
F) Absolutely no hazardous materials are permitted within the space at any time.
G) Use of the gas grill, tiki torches and chiminea in the patio area is permitted, with due and appropriate diligence and with prior written permission.
H) Security Cameras monitor the property, including the front and back entrances to the private loft space. They are provide for security, do not infringe upon your privacy within the apartment, and ARE NOT TO BE TAMPERED WITH during your stay!
H) If items are left behind, you will be notified. If not claimed within two weeks of notification, items will be donated to a worthy cause, or disposed of appropriately.
I) Guests expressly agree as an absolute condition of booking the space that they shall observe these house rules and jointly and severally indemnify, defend, and hold harmless owners, residents, agents, and representatives of the home against any claim, demand, liability, damage, loss, injury, or cost whatsoever arising as a result of the guests' use of the premises and any property thereon, including, without limitation, any nuisance, waste, or harm, directly or indirectly caused by or to guests or guests of guests. Furthermore, guests are responsible for any and all legal fees resulting from the guests' use of the premises or guest negligence. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the Airbnb Contract and booking this space, you additionally agree to the aforementioned terms and conditions of the House Rules for this particular space.
