Om dette opslag
Literally behind the famous Centre Pompidou museum, this studio is for all of those who would like to experience Paris in a romantic and nostalgic way.
With two very large 19th century libraries, going all the way to the ceiling, this is an authentic writer's residence that has kept all the beauty of times past.
Its open look to the medieval church of Saint-Merri ads up to the historical feel of the place.
Location-wise, it is in the real center of Paris: 1m walk to the Marais, 2m to Les Halles, 5m to Notre Dame, 10m to the Latin Quarter and 15m to Saint Germain.
You will find a king size bed on a mezzanine, a good place to rest and get submerged in a book after a long walk. The apartment has been tastefully furnished with a mix of antique french items and a touch of design in the kitchen.
The apartment has a fully furnished kitchen with brand new appliances (espresso machine, boiler, electric oven and stoves, etc).
It also includes a washing machine.
At the end of the hall you will find a comfortable bathroom with shower. Linen and towels are included.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - Please note there is a 50 euros cleaning fee upon arrival to be payed in cash.
Check-in/check-out: Times are flexible. However, check-ins after 10pm have an extra 30 euros fee. The latest check-out time is 10.30AM, especially if there is an arrival on the departure date. However if this is not the case, the check-out time stays flexible. If you want to be 100% sure that you can store luggage, etc for the whole day when you make the booking you can always book the night of your departure.
The acces to the apartment is extremely easy with RER B (Châtelet) only 5-10m walk away, going straight to both CDG and Orly airports. If you're arriving by train, you have a straight connection via the RER B as well from gare du Nord, line 4 from Montparnasse or line 1 to Hôtel de Ville from Gare de Lyon.
We want you to feel at home, so you can count on us during your stay and get in touch if you need further instructions about the apartment or if you want more details about places to go to in the city or good restaurant/bar/cultural venues in the neighborhood.
The marais and beaubourg area is probably the most central and exciting part of town as it's the most diverse, edgy shopping area, full of great restaurants and cultural instituions (Centre Pompidou, Musée Picasso). It's also almost by the Seine, and you can walk to Notre-Dame in about 5 minutes.
There are some parking facilities around, especially near Châtelet. If you are travelling by car, you can ask us for more details.
The house rules are very simple: we count on our guests to behave like they would in their own place. This means, take the garbage down before their departure, make sure linen and towels are ready for the cleaner to clean and respect the scheduled check-in/check-out hours. No pets allowed in the apartment.
