I will be in the Apt 12/23 so that night cheaper rate. On 12/24 I will be there in the evening leaving (quietly!) at 5am. I will not be in the apt. at any other times the apt. is listed as available.
Wood Floors are soft wood and scratch easily, hallway wainscoting is from the 1920's. Please be careful when moving luggage in and out. The building is over 100 years old, and it would be greatly appreciated if guests could come in quietly, if going in and out late at night, so as not to disturb the neighbors. The upstairs neighbor has two friendly dogs who sometimes bark when someone enters the flat. Please hang up wet towels in bathroom, there are plenty of towel racks available for your use. Thanks!
It was a wonderful stay at Maureens Flat in San Francisco. Everything works perfect. I can recommend this flat without restricts.
We had such a great time! Maureen's home was the perfect location for enjoying America's Cup, wonderful dining and great sight seeing. Maureen was a lovely hostess and wealth of information.
The apartment is in a great location, close to good restaurants and an ideal base to explore the city sights. The room was large and sunny, and the shower was lovely after a day out walking. Maureen was friendly and a good host. We really enjoyed our stay.
Staying at Maureen's place was an absolute delight. It was exactly what I needed after a long day of activities: a nice bath and a quiet room. The room itself was big and very bright, one of my favourite things to do was to sit near the big west facing windows in the afternoon and read books, while the sun was shining in.
Maureen herself was a wonderful host, she even offered to get me some coffee when I arrived. She also has a lot of maps of SF and various flyers for things to do/see, which makes it really easy to decide where to go.
The location of the flat is also great, a short walk (15 minutes) away from the financial district, and the Wharf is an even shorter walk away. There's a bunch of really good restaurants that are even closer (Tony's, Mama's, Capo's, etc.).
In summary, I'll definitely stay here if I return to SF, I miss it already.
I spent 9 days in San Francisco and enjoyed this amzing city and the great nature in the region. Maureen's place was the perfect "base camp" for my excursions to chinatown, to the ocean, for hiking, for live music in the evening, museums, biking...
In the apartment you will find everything you need. The room is nice, clean and perfect if you want to stay longer than one or two nights.
Maureen is a great hostess and has wonderful tips what to do, where to go, what to see, especially things, you could do alone. I enjoyed every day and highly recommend Maureen and her wonderful home.
My friend Cecilia and I spent three amazing days in San Francisco this summer, and we stayed in Maureen's apartment! the apartment was well located (10 minutes from fisherman's wharf) and the room was perfect for us! Maureen was a nice host, even if she wasn't around a lot and we couldn't really count on her for advices...but she had to work so it's ok! Funny story: we arrived in San Francisco at 2.30 am, Maureen told me she wasn't in that day...but then all of a sudden she appeared in the house! In the middle of the night!!! We didn't see that coming so it was a little bit scary...but funny at the same time!

Om værten, Maureen
I was born in California, but have dual citizenship and have lived and worked abroad in Europe, Asia and Africa, mainly in marketing/media relations. Now I work locally as a psychologist for the school district. Am not a late-night person now that I'm getting older, prefer a good book, daytime activities like walking/hiking biking with friends and boyfriend, gardening.
