Very nice room in Brooklyn. The room looks exactly as how it is in the pictures: it's clean, spacious and quiet; and the bathroom is just fabulous. Carol and Joy were both really nice and welcoming. A few things to be aware of: 1) it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the subway station; 2) the only spot that has wifi signal is the bathroom; 3) it can be a little chilly during winter. But in general, this is a very beautiful room with comfy bed, kettle and hair dryer.
Yes she welcomed us & facility was as stated, however the bathroom towels were not changed for the six days we were there, the WIFI was not accessable due to router being to far away & TV never worked, great location for us.
Wow! we are sorry about the towels...I thought there were enough towels left in the room for the 6 days. We were just a door away and would have been very happy to hand you more towels if you had asked, but we are very sorry. Yes we do have a problem with the wifi in that room....we have installed a strong wifi but for some reason that room is not picking up the signal. But in the sitting area just outside of the room the signal works. Thanks so much for booking with us, we enjoyed hosting you. Have a wonderful New Year,
This was a lovely quiet space in a beautiful brownstone with an elegant host. The space was comfortable and very clean. I liked the neighborhood, especially WTF Coffee Lab right outside the door! There's plenty of action and accessibility on Myrtle Street. The other adjacent streets had numerous neighborhood gems.
Lovely room with a large, comfortable bed and a spacious spa-like bathroom. Great location for us on a quiet neighborhood street just a few blocks from restaurants.
Beautiful brownstone and wonderful comfortable bed and accommodations. I loved staying here it was very relaxing and easy access to Fort Greene Park and restaurants in the area
It was our first time staying with an Air bnb host and we had a great experience. The arrangements were easy. The room was even nicer than the pictures and spotlessly clean. The neighborhood is lovely and very safe. We had no trouble parking on the street. We slept well, with a minimum of street noise.
The only thing to be aware of is the nice thick walls, which make the room cool and quiet, also make wireless internet connection difficult. We could not pick up the wireless network or use our hot spot in the room. Better access is available in the sitting area.
I only met Carol once, when I checked in and received my keys. She was friendly and showed me the room in the apartment. She was easy to communicate with online and by phone, and responded quickly. The room itself is very nice. It's big and beautiful with a huge bed and a fantastic private bathroom. There are other people staying in other parts of the large house, including another Airbnb room, so you will hear them occasionally. I had trouble staying connected to the wifi. The location in the neighborhood is great. You can see experience the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn, but you're not on a main thoroughfare. It is a short walk to the subway, buses, restaurants, Fort Greene Park, and bodegas. Downtown Brooklyn is also a slightly longer walk away or you can take one of several buses. I would definitely stay here again.
