Agron succeeded in surpassing every expectation I could possibly have to an airbnb host - in terms of flat quality, hospitality, personality, everything!
I accidentally ended up in Pristina after the last bus had gone, and Agron went out of his way to help me make it to Prizren, an adventure that involved several phone conversations between him, a bus driver, a cab driver and a helpful Albanian girl to get me to the right place. When I finally arrived - much later than I had originally announced - Agron came to pick me up, and after having checked me in, he took me for an evening stroll through lovely Prizren to show me the main points of interest. On top of that, he arranged my bus drive to Tirana after my stay, and drove me to the station himself. What a host!
The flat has everything you could wish for - it is smack in the middle of town, less than a minute away from the river. It has two wonderful, spacious terrasses, one of them with a view to the mountains and the old citadel. The flat is spacious and comfortable and would make the perfect base for a stay in Prizren, whether you're there for just one night or for a week or more. And to make my arrival even more pleasant, Agron had put out a bottle of wine for me.
So if the beautiful Prizren nights with crowds of people promenading along the river, the cultural diversity, the ćevapčićis, the Turkish tea, and the rich history of Prizren isn't enough for you, stay at Agron's. And Prizren will not feel more welcoming.
