It was comprehensively redesigned to become a vacation retreat offered by The Urban Nest North County. The designer's signature style shows in this historic coastal bungalow fused with a modern industrial twist. It is our goal is to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Originally built in 1939 and under new, top-notch management, this single-story vacation retreat boasts hardwood floors, an open floor plan, luxury bedding, a full kitchen, stylist furnishings throughout, fenced in yard, outdoor dining patio with a fire table, and beach equipment! The CEO of The Urban Nest is one of the top designers in Southern California, and her signature style shows. The CFO of the company has spent his 20-year career as an executive within the luxury hotel space. Together it is their goal to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

CLEANING ACCORDING TO CDC GUIDELINES
Cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us! We have been given a 5-star review for the cleanliness of our homes from each and every guest that has ever stayed with us! We are very proud of this. Notwithstanding such, we also recognize that extra precautionary measures should be taken following the COVID-19 health crisis. As such, to properly clean and disinfect our homes, we adhere to all Center of Disease Control (“CDC”) recommended guidelines and use only CDC approved products. We miraculously clean all hard (non-porous) surfaces (inclusive of frequently touched surfaces such as light switches, door handles, and electronics) with cleaners and disinfecting solutions. All soft (porous) surfaces that cannot be laundered are disinfected with spray disinfecting products. All linens are washed according to CDC guidelines. In addition thereto, our cleaners are masked and gloved while undertaking the cleaning of each unit. Finally, our high-performance ventilation systems continuously circulate fresh air into the homes. We constantly monitor CDC’s recommendations and update our procedures as needed to strictly adhere to these guidelines. We hope that this information gives you comfort that our homes are cleaned to the highest known standard for the safety for all our guests.

LIVING AREA
- Every opportunity to bring in natural light through windows and doors was taken in this home design!
- Recline on a comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs in the living room while watching a movie on the 45” flat screen smart TV.
- Television content is provided via Hulu TV. Hulu is a entertainment content provider offering live TV via an expanded line up of television network programming, on demand television content, and on demand movies.
- A new HVAC system, complete with air conditioning, keeps guests in control of their comfort throughout the year.
- Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available for Guest Use.

KITCHEN & DINING
- The kitchen is adorned with butcher block countertops and upgraded stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.
- A Keurig machine with complimentary coffee and condiments await guests.
- Kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests may need to enjoy their stay, including grilling tools and a pizza stone for chilly nights or our smallest guest.
- Gather in the dining area with a six-person table and a counter with seating for an additional four.
- The open floor plans allow guests to remain engaged with one another.

BEDROOMS & BATH
- This home accommodates six guests between two bedrooms and a memory foam, queen-size sofa sleeper.
- The full bathroom is stocked complete with a complimentary 5-piece, starter set of toiletries Intended to pamper the guests.
- The bath features a modern glass walk-in shower.
- The master bedroom features a king-size bed complete with luxurious down bedding and a signature mattress from the world’s largest luxury hotel.
- The second bedroom has two, twin beds complete with luxurious down bedding.
- Bedrooms feature open chrome wired closets for ease of access to guest belongings.
- The memory form, queen-size sleeper sofa and darkening window treatments in the living room is intended to provide the 5th-6th person a quality night’s sleep.
- Ample, high quality linens along with beach towels are provided for guest use.

OUTDOOR AREA
- A fenced yard with a low front patio allow adults and children to enjoy the Cali sunshine and beautiful sunsets.
- Unwind on four Adirondack chairs that surround the modern fire table for relaxing after a trip to the beach or a chilly evening by the fire.
- Enjoy a delicious al fresco meal at the custom table complete with a grill and umbrella intended to provide shade as needed.
-Thoughtfully landscaping ensures the guest can enjoy the quiet neighborhood while being reminded they are in sunny destination at a vacation retreat.

BEACH EQUIPMENT
Need bikes, helmets, or boards? Don't rent them! This home provides two beach cruiser bikes with helmets, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, sand toys, a small cooler, and a wagon to tote it all to the famous oceanside pier beach. Please note, the surfboard is not included. We have come to learn that there is not a good one size fits all for a surfboard. Rather, a board must be sized to the individual's height and skill set. As such, we have recommendations for surfboard rental options on our website if you are interested in renting a board.

LAUNDRY
A full-size washer and dryer with complimentary detergent are provided within the home for guest use.

PARKING
- Plenty of Street parking is available and is first come, first served. Parking will be provided when the second unit is completed at the rear of the property. Stay tuned!
- The East side is no parking between 9am-12pm on 1st and 3rd Monday.
- The West side is no parking between 6am-9am on the 1st and 3rd Monday.

KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. The access code provided will not work until after 3:30p time and will not work after 9:30a on your check-out date.

EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECK-OUT
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation and we will process a credit card authorization in that amount prior to your arrival. This authorization is held for 14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the unit, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the unit or the contents of the unit to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

If the guest(s) violates any of the House Rules, guest(s) will be responsible for all damage(s), repair(s), and cost(s) associated with any extra cleaning arising out of the violation(s) of the House Rules. Guests will also be responsible for missing contents or for exceeding the stated number of overnight guests.

The posted security deposit is intended to allow for immediate reimbursement of the above stated costs and guest(s) understand by booking this home they are posting a security deposit for such purposes. If the damage, repair, or costs associated with any extra cleaning exceeds the $1,000.00 security deposit, guest(s) understand that an addition charge commensurate with such damage, repair or extra cleaning will be sought. The management company will provide any and all evidence of the damage via photographs, security cameras, or other methods deemed appropriate to document the damage, repair or extra cleaning.

Guests are responsible for reporting any damage to the unit, missing contents, or violation of the House Rules to the management company immediately. We do understand that accidents that happen. However, we will not tolerate gross abuse or neglect to our home or its contents.
