This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Whether you are travelling through or looking to getaway, Mill House can provide you with tranquility and relaxation.

Boligen
Mill House is on an active farm. It is highly likely that you will see some livestock and maybe a friendly sheep or two. The house also has a resident cat. She is very friendly and loves attention. If you aren't a cat lover - no problem! She is happy to roam outside.

Your booking will secure you the entire house and the immediate surroundings. Out of bounds areas will be shown to you on arrival and if you would like to take a farmland walk, please ask and we will try our best to assist. Ask us about of tunnel walks on our farm. We are a family of four that run and sheep and beef farm in Pohokura. Mill House was our family home until recently. We couldn't have it empty, so what better way to occupy it by sharing it with the world.
