This lovely three-bedroom apartment suite is part of a stunning 1881 Victorian Queen Anne style home. Two queen beds and one twin sleep a total of 5 adults. The grounds are beautiful and surrounded by stately oak trees. The bright interior is uniquely decorated and offers full amenities. The home is within walking distance of the U of M, the Mississippi river and iconic Stone Arch bridge. Hike, bike or drive to museums, theatres, stadiums, eateries, coffeeshops, yoga studios and so much more!

Boligen
This apartment is on the second and third floor of an 1881 Victorian Estate and has a private entry. Upon entering the unit, you will climb a flight of stairs to the main level. This level houses the eat-in kitchen, full bathroom with tub and shower, separate sitting room, and a bedroom with a queen sized bed, desk, and tv. Continue up another flight of stairs to the third floor to access two more bedrooms. One with a queen sized bed and tv, the other with a twin bed, and an extra sink/vanity area.

The apartment is arranged so it's quite easy to find your own space to be quiet and have time to yourself, even when traveling with others.

The bright sitting room boasts large tall windows looking out into treetops. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or gather everyone for board games.

The kitchen provides an array of quality cookware and utensils, plates, glasses, and more if you wish to cook or dine in. Coffee/tea is included as well as the basics to help you get started with your stay.

If you would like to sit outside, there are chairs on the porch, and there is a table with seating for 6 on the back patio. The patio is shared with the rest of the property so access is first come first served.

Originally designed in 1881 as living quarters for the staff, this space is part of a large historic mansion. You can park for free on the street and stroll up the beautiful walkway to your own private entrance.

Please note, this apartment is located on the second and third floor levels, which requires multiple flights of stairs to navigate.

The courtyard, gardens and patio seating are shared spaces and available to you on a first come first served basis.

Due to the quirks of modernizing a historic home, all modern amenities have been retrofitted. The main level has a wall ac unit located in the kitchen. Portable fans are available as well if desired. The upper level has central air conditioning. The entire unit is heated with a modern boiler system through antique radiators.

The unit originally housed servants' quarters and was formally updated to house members of the original family in the 1920's. This apartment has its own private entry and shares a porch with another apartment. The grounds, and basement are shared as well. Ask us for basement access if you need to use the workout area or laundry facilities.

The Marcy-Holmes area is known as the historic first neighborhood in Minneapolis.

Due to its close proximity to the university of Minnesota, you may notice students and faculty passing through the neighborhood heading to local housing, cafes, eateries, etc. Feel free to reach out to us for local recommendations!
