A characterful and comfortably furnished one bedroomed, self contained ground floor flat in Old Town, Stratford. Offered with free courtyard parking for medium sized car, wifi and within 5 minutes’ walk to the RSC Theatres, Halls Croft and Shakespeare’s resting place.
5 College Lane used to be part of the Flowers Brewery and was converted into flats in 1988. Being so close to the river, the courtyard is a haven for wildlife and it's not unusual at certain times of year to see hedgehogs in the undergrowth and ducks with ducklings parading along the wall.
As you look out to your right when leaving the patio doors, you can see the spire of Holy Trinity - the Church where Shakespeare is buried.
Hall's Croft is a two-minute walk and the RSC theatres five minutes away.
Over the seven years that I’ve owned it, the flat has housed a number of actors and technicians from the Royal Shakespeare Company, who love the close proximity to the theatre, as they can come home for a decent lunch and rest between tech rehearsals.
