A private room in a unique converted water tower in North Kensington accessed from the towpath of the Grand Union Canal with extraordinary views over London . Two other rooms on other floors are also available at similar rates .
Only five minutes walk to the Portobello Road with it's legendary flea markets and food stalls , fifteen minutes from Notting Hill Gate . Transport links are great with many buses on the doorstop , giving easy access to the West End .Kensal Green and Ladbroke Grove Underground stations and Kensal Rise Overground are all an equidistant 14 minutes away.
Walk out of the door , turn left for the massive late night Sainsbury's supermarket or right for the generous honest and modern cooking of the Dock Kitchen - both 20 seconds away .
The lower room is a 7 metres diameter cylinder with a kitchenette with oven and hob and generous bathroom with a full size bath .
the other two rooms have a shower and toilet room but no kitchenette , so please let me know if you require self catering .
Masses of daylight and windows looking out in three directions . the bed is a british standard double ,with white hotel quality linen.
The tower is accessed through six flights of exterior stairs , so not suitable for anyone with a vertigo !
unfortunately no lift yet .
This is a non smoking house .
No parties please .

What a great spot! Ideal location for me. The Dock Kitchen opposite served lovely food. I was amazed by how quiet it was, and how well I slept! Florence was really helpful, and very flexible on arrival times. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, next time I'm working in the area.
The place is magical. We stayed at the top floor and it was really wonderful. There was everything we needed. The shower and sink were on the smaller side but still ok. Everything was clean. And 360' view is superb. Tube is about 10 minutes walk away and it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the centre. Portobello road is a nice 15 minutes walk away. We didn't meet Florence and communication could have been better so it was the only small downside. All in all great experience. Highly recommended.
The flat was great and just as described - I changed my check in time last minute and they were very easy going and helpful. All good! great views, cosy and well positioned. I have no problem finding parking and enjoyed my stay very, much.
Our stay at water tower was amazing, the building, the interior, everything. Will totally recommend it to my friends and stay there again when in London. Thanks, Tom!
We had a dream stay at the water tower this weekend, great views of London from the roof too, especially during sunset. Would 100% recommend to others!
The water tower is magical. It's a real treat to stay there; the views, the sea gulls buzzing by, the spaciousness, the roundness!
It feels a bit like camping in the sky. Also because basic amenities are lacking, alas. Coat hangers, anyone? There are not a lot of surfaces to put things on (luggage, clothes, the small stuff) – unless, of course, you put them on the floor. As some other reviewers said, the shower and sink are stylish but don't function well. It doesn't take much to flood the place. And towels are sparse, in case you have to mop up your mess. A small fridge would be great, especially with the huge Sainsbury's nearby.
We had to put the bed linens on ourselves. The place didn't feel particularly clean. The toilet seat is broken.
Loved the Aesop hand soap, and it was great to find a bottle of Evian on the table.
All in all it feels like nobody has ever looked around and said, "right, what simple things could be done in order to make this amazing place less of a camping experience and more of a well-rounded, lovely nest in the sky?" Just a few small touches – that would take close to no time and would not cost a lot – would make a world of a difference, and would make us want to come back.
