Centrally located in close-in Buckman SE Portland, between Hawthorne and Belmont… our sweet and little 1890's Victorian is our first home and it strives to be your home-away-from-home.
At 1800 sq ft and 2+ bedrooms, our home is roomy for a couple but spacious enough to accommodate a small family or group.
We love Portland and our neighborhood… surrounded by trees and biking lanes. It offers 5-stars walking access. You'll be close to food carts, coffee shops, bars, parks, music venues, movie theaters, restaurants, downtown and the river. By car, it's a 5-minute hop to downtown.
For sleeping arrangements, please make sure this works for your party: we have 1 king-sized bed, 1 full-sized extra firm convertible couch, and a twin sized bed.
We offer a full kitchen, gas range, dishwasher, backyard deck, energy efficient central heat, washer/dryer, flatscreen TV for movies, Netflix, wifi, 1.5 baths and a spiral staircase.
For outdoor enthusiasts, there's room to store your boards, skis, bikes, kayaks, etc. We're near public transportation, but if you have a car, there's a driveway and plenty of street parking.
This our home, when we're out-of-town we love sharing our little Victorian with likeminded folks who enjoy a local experience when they're on their own adventures. Portland's a great city and we believe it has a lot to offer.
We value the Airbnb community. We've had only positive experiences and strive to keep it that way. Renters with full profiles go a long way in building trust! We've also found it makes the experience richer for both parties. Communication is especially key before check-in. This helps us answer any questions you might have about the house, the city and parking/key exchange info… it also lets us know how much bedding and towels leave out.
We have a cat… but due to her disability we house her off-site.

We're a small mother-daughter family. We pride ourselves on being mobile and adventurous but we also love our roots and routines. While we're away, we want to share our home because we believe that's the best way to travel–experiencing the little moments as a citizen rather than just a tourist.
