God placering

A spacious bell tent set up on a small, family-run and eco-friendly campsite. Woodland trails, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and an inlet of the Tidal Estuary are all within 100m of your tent, and just a short walk up the country lane, you will find the local pub, serving hearty pub food.

Our wood-fired hot tub, meadow swing and field space for games mean there is something for all the family, and we are a perfect base from which to explore the best that Pembrokeshire has to offer!

Boligen
With just a handful of bell tents and a few camping pitches, our pretty little glamping site is never overcrowded and each tent has ample space, along with their own private, sheltered BBQ and fire pit area, and seating space.

We aim to provide the basics to ensure you are comfortable and don't need to bring any camping gear with you but still get to experience the fun of camping! All our tents are fully equipped with cooking equipment (pots, pans, crockery, utensils, a coolbox), full bedding (soft foam mattresses on a cushioned floor, quilts, pillows, blankets, cushions and hot water bottles), an assortment of books and games, and solar lamp lighting.

You just need to bring your towels (we don't provide these, sorry), torches (there is very little light pollution in the meadow, although we do provide solar lanterns), wellies and swim gear (if you plan on using the hot tub).

We like to do our bit for the environment so we ask our guests to separate their rubbish so we can recycle as much as we can, and as you will notice when you get here, we upcycle various items and use solar lighting. We also have wind turbines gently generating electricity on the farm, we have numerous bat and bird boxes up, we have neighbouring bee hives, and we plant a tree for every camper that stays with us (this is one of the benefits we have of being a membership only Greener Camping Club campsite, and annual membership is just £10).

Visit our website www.eco-escape.co.uk to find out more information on what we offer, and what to bring with you!

Gæsteadgang
The tent is situated in a wildflower meadow where the children can roam free and play with our outdoor swing and family friendly games.

Guests have access to hot showers, flushing toilets, a sheltered washing up and food prep area (with clean drinking water), and of course, our hand crafted, wood-fired hot tub in our lovely little woodland area. The hot tub is available to guests across our whole site and is run on an informal first-come, first-serve basis with private time slots of 2 hours at a time for its use. This tends to be the most fair and works pretty well most of the time. Basically, whoever gets to the hot tub first, and lights the fire, has it to heat up, and then once it is warm enough to get in, has it for 2 hours private use, before it becomes available for the next set of guests.

If someone else has heated it up and used it earlier that day, and has then finished their 2 hour slot, you can usually jump in straight away as it retains it's heat pretty well, and just have the fire to top it up. There is a BBQ and seating chill out area next to the hot tub so if you light it, you can relax and eat down there until it is hot enough to use. It can take up to 4 hours from cold. Water changeovers and cleaning times for the hot tub are set for between 6am and 12pm so it is unavailable for use at these times, but there is no cut-off time at night, provided you are respectful of campers nearby. We don't charge for use of the hot tub, but you will need to buy or bring logs to heat it.

We sell wood on-site for the hot tub and fire pits (£35 and £12/box respectively). If you would like these on your arrival day, you must pre-order and pay in advance of your stay. Log boxes requested on site will be delivered the next day, upon receipt of cash payment.

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
We are a working farm so parts of the farm is out of bounds (these areas will become clear when you arrive), but there is still plenty of space to play in and explore.

We welcome well-behaved pets but charge a one-off additional fee of £10 per pet, and ask that you bring their own bed and towels and keep them off the bedding.

We are a member of the Greener Camping Club so all guests must buy a membership from us (£10 - one per family) to stay at our site, and must adhere to the GCC rules of staying at our campsite.

The bed arrangement is set up as a double bed for 2 persons, a double and a single bed for 3 persons, a double and two singles for 4 persons and a double and three singles (two pushed together) for 5 persons. Alternative bed arrangements can be requested but will incur an additional fee of £5.

Beliggenhed

Pembrokeshire, Wales, Storbritannien

There is an ancient oak woodland right on our doorstep (perfect for tiring little 'uns and your furry friends out before bed), and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes directly by us. It is a mile walk up a country lane to the Horse & Jockey pub, or approximately a 40 minute walk along the edge of the estuary and on part of the Coastal path to either Milford Marina (where you will find a number of great little cafes, shops and restaurants) or Hazelbeach, with it's dog-friendly country pub situated right on the water's edge. We are 1.1 miles from our nearest supermarket.

We are just 10 minutes drive to our nearest beach (dog-friendly all year round – as are we), 20 mins to the village of Dale (offering a whole host of watersports, as well as a decent pub and award-winning seafood restaurant), 25 mins away from the stunning Tenby and Saundersfoot (popular tourist destinations), 30 mins from St Davids (and it’s grand cathedral) and less than 30 mins from most adventure parks (Oakwood, Blue Stone, Heatherton, Folly Farm) that are guaranteed to keep you busy.

I ask that guests let me know their approximate arrival time when they book and once payment has been received for the GCC membership fee, and any other extras (dogs, hot tub logs, firepit logs), I send directions to our site and instructions in case I am not about when they arrive. If I am about when guests arrive, I will pop over to say hello, but if not, I will usually be about in the mornings and sometimes evenings to give info or help out. I am also available on my mobile number between the hours of 8am and 9pm each day and am happy to respond to text messages with info and recommendations, and try to solve any problems as soon as I can if they arise. I provide an emergency contact number on site if you can't wait for office hours and need our help urgently.
