Yola you stayed at our apartment for 1 night. It was unfortunate that your Uber driver got lost but the correct address was provided, as we do with all our guests.
Our accommodation is advertised as located in a “secure boomed-off suburb”, and as is common in secure estates access is restricted; accordingly, three gates are open during the day and only one gate open after 8:00pm in line with the Estate security policy.
We also state that “the apartment is Self-Catering and stand alone”; it is important to clarify that the accommodation was purpose-built as “stand-alone” accommodation and is not a converted garage as you incorrectly stated.
With respect to the iPhone charger, unfortunately I was not at home when I received the request and returned home quite late after 10.00pm. It was out of courtesy and kindness that I sent a message that I will bring the charger in the morning, which I duly delivered to you in the morning.
As you have correctly highlighted, the housekeeper allowed the Uber in when you checked-in; the housekeeper informed me that she assisted you carry your 1 handbag satchel to the Uber when you checked out, but I personally never spoke to nor had any contact whatsoever with any Uber driver, so it is incorrect to state that I did not allow the Uber driver in.
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us and regret if any inconvenience that you may have experienced as a result of delayed delivery of the iPhone charger. We always try to assist our guests in a timely manner and make their stay pleasant. However, as a customer your comments are important, and we will strive to improve our service to our clients.
