Authentic loft in a quiet street in the historic center of Ghent.
The oldest parts of the house date back to 14th century. It was renovated in 1818 by the Maeterlinck family (L'Oiseau Bleu, Maurice M. Nobel Prize in Literature) and brought into the 21st century by renowned Belgian architect Jo Taillieu, with respect for the many historical & architectural elements.
The ancient oak floors might creak here and there, but hey tell a mesmerizing story!
