Right in the centre of town, in the shadow of Duiske Abbey, diagonally opposite. Upstairs from an artisan daytime cafe.

Being upstairs over a cafe, there is no need to make breakfast (or lunch!) if you're not in the mood - a great plus for anyone on a getaway!

Adgang for gæster

The full upstairs is at your disposal, a sizeable house on Lower High Street in Graignamanagh. The ground floor is taken over by a cafe, with a door separating it completely from the accommodation upstairs.

The house was in a perfect location and so spacious and homely. We had a wonderful time and Lorraine made it all so easy for us and was so kind allowing us to stay on for longer. It was easy to contact her and we had a fabulous stay. We can't wait to come back next year!

Lorraine's place was really comfortable. Great kitchen, dining and lounge and good bedrooms and bathrooms. We also loved the location and parking was easy. Lorraine was easy to get in contact with and check in was easy even though we changed our expected arrival time that day. Beautiful town and river too. Recommend kayaking with Pure Adventure Ireland too.

This is an old town house which was a former family home, so its just like a home from home. Its not a five star hotel or guest house but then neither is our own home place and we are perfectly happy there just as we were in this house for our weekend in Graiguenamanagh. Lorraine could not have been more helpful. - Answering any questions we had before booking - Meeting at a time that suited us to hand over keys and explain the running of the house and what was available locally. - Stocking up with Tea, Coffee, Milk, Bread, Jam and Biscuits. - Being at the end of the phone over the weekend to recommend restaurants etc. Grainuenamanagh Our first time and we were all blown away by the beauty of the area. Beautiful towns and villages of character. Indeed 2 minutes from the house there is access to miles upon miles of paradise for any runner or walker in the form of the Barrow way. Why is this area not promoted more from a tourism perspective? If your looking for a place to hide away watching TV on a 40" screen this is not the place for you. However if it a nice home to lay your head after days exploring the beauty of this area then it ticks the boxes. We will be back

The Foundry is the perfect location for both walking and driving around Graiguenamanagh and the surrounding countryside; it's not only centrally located but it shares the premises with an exquisite coffee shop operated by the most congenial hostess, Catriona. Lorraine's attentiveness and advice prior to arrival on everything from transportation to pubs was very helpful. The four-bedroom apartment suited our needs perfectly, and the cozy fireplace helped to take out the chill on rainy days (yes, you will encounter a few showers in Graig!). If you like to cook, the self-catering kitchen is just the ticket. And if you like to photograph architectural details in a medieval backdrop, the rooftop look-off offers a splendid view of the village. I admired Lorraine's friendly yet professional approach, and really appreciated her staying in touch with me during our stay. Do I plan to return? Absolutely! We loved our stay at rooms@coffee on high. Lorraine was a lovely host. She went out of her way to accommodate us. The house was exactly as described. The house was very spacious and clean. It was about 25mins from Kilkenny city. When ever I will be in that area again, I look forward to booking rooms@coffee on high again. Thanks Lorraine.

Lorraine was warm and welcoming and made us feel very at home. The house is lovely with the sound of running water in the adjoining stream to lull you to sleep. Graig is a special place with several good restaurants and a drink in Mick Doyles hardware shop and bar being a must! Lorraine must be the friendliest host that we have had in all our AirNbNB stays!
